.45 Pistol M1911A1 Assembly, Disassembly Manual

I am an novice when gun smithing is concerned, however I would have been able to build, from scratch, my m1911 g.i. Gun. This book has a wealth of info to use and to build it the right way. Many tips, idea's and photo's to help along. I have done a bunch of research and in my opinion this is the best way to go. These gentlemen know what they are talking about. Also they make it fun to use. Highly recommend !

Just a good and handy reference. Not fancy, but a good price.

Fairly clear and easy to understand, at least for field stripping. Drawings, no photographs, so the full disassembly/reassembly is a little hard to understand. For the price, not a bad booklet to have though. Purchased one for myself and again for a family member.

Another fine entry in the classic Skennerton series. I pick up one of these inexpensive and informative manuals for every gun In my collection that is covered, even if I have several books or other sources on the particular gun. Usually my first go-to when a question arises.

I husband says it is very informative. I am sure a compter person could find all that is in this book on the internet. My husband isn't a computer person. I refuse to be his secretary, as I have my own searches to do. We compromised, and he is happy with this book.

This is really good for a basic reference. If you want detailed specs or a very thorough manual this isn't it, but it's perfect for tear-down and reassembly or just understanding your weapon better.

A good overview of the 1911 pistol. Diagrams are somewhat crude but a good little guide to have in your gun library.

Pretty good data and instructional layout for the 1911-1&1A. Book fits into my field bag, have not had to use it as of yet, but still good if and when needed.

Not really worth a great deal of cash, though it would be better than it is, but you don't know till you get it.
