Dont fret from the 3 star of sound quality, that is comparing to $250 Airpod Pros. Best sound for the money.

Another great iem gimped by it's included tips
These are one of the harder iems I have heard to understand. I. Actually surprised to see enough people gave these a fair shot trying alternative tips to give these a rating they deserve. With stock tips these had me disappointed after recently getting the CCA C12. Those really impressed me compared to things like the Blon bl-03. Stock the CA16 seemed too bass heavy and recessed the treble way too much. Outside of the obvious increase in resolution and lack of grain compared to the Those mentioned and some others it felt like a down grade. The bass could completely cover most of the other frequencies. The only unusual thing about that fault was that you can still hear the other stuff well controlled underneath. It wasn't like the bass was bleeding in to things but more like the volume of the other frequencies are too low.Sadly the sound wasn't the only negative on first impression but the fit was an issue as well. The stock tips are recessed on the sleeve and the nozzle is relatively short. In addition to that the underside of the iem has a large bump that pushes against my ear with stock tips. That eventually leads to the iem slowly coming out my ear at an angle breaking the seal. If you own some of the other less recent models from CCA or KZ you are familiar with a 4.5-5mm nozzle but these are more like 3.5mm maybe even 3. Most of my tips don't fit.Luckily the stock star tips from those older KZ and CCA tips will mostly fit. If you are something else and freak out thinking you have to run to the hospital to waste their valuable time to get it out then don't do this. I have had the tips come off iny ear many times but eventually found a way to make the tips stay on despite being slightly too loose. The star tips will make the body of the iem sit further out. There is a good amount of space after the nozzle ends before you get to the end of the tip. That increased distance allowed them to stay in my ear and improved comfort a lot. It does make them stick out from your ears a bit more but it's a trade off I am willing to make. Finally to where things improve. I was not originally a fan of the star tips which is why I had them to spare. They seemed to brighten things compared to my usual tips be it foam or silicone. With the CA16 they are nearly exactly what is needed. The bass is toned down a touch but still elevated compared to the C12 and blons. The mids seemed to come up to an acceptable level and the treble loses some of that veiled feeling it had prior. With those tips it is such an enjoyable experience. The detail is extremely impressive for the price and it presents detail in a technical way and not in a bright analytical way. Vocals are very smooth and oddly lacking that grain maybe slight metallic tint from most other chifi BA's. The tips also gave some power back to the female singers that was taken away with the stock tips. Overall they would still be considered a warm iem and though. These have more than enough detail to keep you occupied listening to music allowing you to enjoy the small things you normally wouldn't but they are also a pleasure set. At no point will these hurt you or result in fatigue. Outside of playing them too loud you can listen to these all day without issue. These have become my most used pair since I got the tips figured out and the improvements are painfully obvious going back to the C12 and especially the bl-03. I didn't notice that much of a lack of detail or grain with those but after listening to the CA16 then going back the difference is actually startling.Hopefully lastly I also upgraded the cable. I got it earlier today and it is the 16 core silver and gold cable by Tripowin. I'm trying real hard to find a difference between it and the stock cable but don't know if I can. I only have one pair of the CA16 and there is just too much time between listening when swapping the cable to get an honest opinion. I think I may notice a small difference but don't know if I am hearing the difference because I want one to make a difference. I think I hear a slight boost to the mids and treble with the new cable but even if what I think I am hearing is real it is very minor. The difference I think I notice the most is the trail of vocals and instruments in the treble region. The stock cable seems to have a soft ending edge to words and roundness to the treble. The Tripowin feels like it shaved down the rounded edges adding a touch of crispness. It's actually a good thing but it could all be in my head. LolI'm scared to scroll up and see how long this review is so I will summarize and end it here. These have many issues stock but if you invest the time and effort finding better tips you can get a very good sounding pair of iems that have impressive detail at a reasonable price. Possibly the best detail at it's price.

likely the best chinese cheap iems money can buy
Unreal sound quality at this price point. I unfortunately could not keep them but for the time I listened to them, they were superb. Couldn't really afford to purchase them at the time but lost my mains and needed a set before worship service over the weekend. My old ones turned up a couple days later and it was either have an extra set of iems or get my kiddo a birthday present. Will likely be back for another set asap!

Try you will never regret and it’s affordable.
I have an expensive one and I compare to CA16 I was surprised when I try it to my onkyo dap the sound quality is close if this can only sealed the ear tips it’s perfect. The only thing that I don’t like about this is the wire the ear part is soft plastic.

First Impressions
They're definitely warm and smooth to listen to and easy listening all day. It may just be mine that have a problem, but the response curve has definite dropout around 4500 hz and 8000 hz which may be either mine having an issue or just the tuning of these in general. It's significant enough to where certain instruments aren't quite coming through. Something's missing. It may be they tried too hard to remove any sibilance, or it could be I have some bunk drivers in there that aren't quite pulling their weight in the upper range.I have the CCA C12s and they seem fairly flat through the entire frequency range with some very minimal changes around the upper 5000 and 8000 hz range and everything seems more detailed and separated in those relative to the CCA CA16. The lower end of the CA16 definitely sounds great and digs deeper than the C12s, but it just seems like the CA16s are missing something in the upper end. I'll keep listening for a while and see what I get but I definitely have more of a "wow, I hear everything so well" on the C12s. I don't have that same experience with these and am somewhat disappointed as they're higher priced and have more drivers.

Good value
Have made these my "beater" IEMs. They sound good to my ears, better than most IEMs under $100. Just don't expect these to sound better than more expensive IEMs. I think the sweet spot is in the ~ $120 range with the FiiO FH3, Moondrop Starfield, or ThieAudio L3 if you want to spend a little more for the next level.

Cord is short
Wanted to plug these into a monitor while playing drums. Cord was just too short. Sound was good. Will work well with my laptop or tablet.

Rivals the usual "in ear monitor" brands - I'm looking at you SHURE!!!
I originally had the Shure lower end model, 1 driver in-ear monitors. Absolutely terrible. I couldn't believe how bad they were for the $140 price tag.So I tried the CCA 10's - moderately better than the Shure's that I had, for a third the price but still not great. These CCA16's are fantastic - well worth the money for in-ear monitors, gives enough low end to still have a feel for music while you are playing. I use them as in ear monitors for music broadcasting where I just need to hear myself well enough and with enough bass to add "feels" feedback to my performances. These are NOT heavy low end like the standard headphone studio style headphones. If you are looking for deep bass the CCA16s are not for you.

Worth your money! Enjoy your Hi-res music😉
The media could not be loaded. Amazing product! I own KZ ZSX and this definately sounds more smooth. It need more power to drive to more number of drivers but can be driven on smartphone. Flac/AAC/Waw quality music is recommended for this and you'll not be disappointed! Worth your money. If you're okay with AliExpress then you'll get it for cheaper price and delivery after 1 month.

Sound not that diffrent from 1BA + 1DD
Don't get me wrong, they are good. But there is no significant improvement in listening quality. The ear tips are crap. And looking for replacement foam tips is a full-time job. Without the foam tips you would lose out all the small nuances in music to external noises. The brass tip has a bump in it and is smaller than other KZ earphones tips that you have. Hence you have to get another set of them.More over the casing is also not suitable for a long listening session. Specilly if you have it under your helmet. It starts to annoy you in 15-20 mins

Incredible Sound!... If you get a proper seal.
At first, I wasn't really impressed by the sound, at least not until I got eartips that actually sealed well. (I got Spinfit CP800s) They do best with a shallow fit, so the vents aren't obstructed by anything. The all plastic construction doesn't bug me that much, since these are a lot lighter, the only thing bad is that they don't feel very premium. Other than that, these are my favorite CCA/KZ iems so far.

Excellent!
Great sounding iems. But to get the best out of it you would need a better source and better cable than the included one.
