When I tried to open the tiny latch on the device to check on the battery, I struggled with it. The battery cover involves pinching a tiny trigger while pulling simultaneously. For someone who's got carpal tunnel and arthritis, like me, it was difficult to open. Tweezers or a more adept friend with super powers may be required!

This is such a great night light. My five-year-old loves black panther so this is his favorite. The remote has so many different colors you're guaranteed to have one that your kids will like. There's also a brightness setting so you can change it to be very bright, Almost enough to read a book by. Or you can have it low so that it's just a little light if they need to get up in the middle of the night. It doesn't need to be plugged into work. You can charge it then take out the cord and move the light around it as you need.

This is such a cool light! I am so happy I got it. The colors are bright and distinctive. The light itself isn't too bright but that's ok; it's bright enough. The design is clear, you can tell it's Black Panther. The remote control is easy to use. The only thing is, you really have to push the plexiglass into the slot. It has to "click". But I would rather use a bit of force than to have Black Panther falling out all the time. Highly recommend!

Brightness: I think that it is at a perfect brightness. It's bright enough to be seen but not too bright to where your whole room is the color of it.Looks: love it. My brother loves black panther and he loves it as well. It looks amazing and I like the pose that black panther is in. It's his signature at this point.Overall, love it. 5/5

Initial perception was low. Generic box. Bad English translation on box. The instructions are hard to read. The good is that it's self explanatory on how to put it together and it does look neat put together. Size is okay for a small shelf. I'd assemble it before gifting it because the box does not describe what is in it.
