HanesUndershirt, Ribbed Value Pack, Comfortable 100% Cotton Tank Tops for Women, 6-Pack

Some how these tanks manage to be both see-through (very thin fabric) AND really rough/scratchy. I would not be able to wear these without a bra because of my nipps. Washing them a few times using different home remedies has not helped at all.I see that these are described as "comfortable" and there's another, different listing that refers to Hane's tanks as "soft" even though they're both cotton. I would keep looking if I could have a do-over .

After wearing these tops, I downgraded my review. It is so hard to find actual cotton and soft breathable fabrics anymore. These are very light nd somewhat sheer, but the feel is not very soft either. I wish I would have returned them but again, they were inexpensive. Therefore I am still looking for a good cotton tank top.First review- What a great value for 6 tank tops. I purchased thinking of a trusted name of Hanes these days and they arrived in 24 hrs, 6 tops that fit great. I am between a small or medium, and I selected medium and they fit great. I really would have preferred a bit heavier material like they used to be, as these are lightweigt and sheer. Requires wearing a bra, just saying...

Great for hot weather.

100% cotton at a reasonable price. Only downside so far is that they are quite a bit thinner than my old ones. (Less thread saves $$$. Ergo, thinner... at reasonable price.)

I wear ribbed tank tops in the fall and winter under my other clothes because layering definitely keeps body heat in. Most ribbed tank tops are too loose and too thick and finding 100% cotton tops isn't easy. These tanks by Hanes are exactly what I've been looking for. Thin, ribbed, form-fitting and 100% cotton. They're long and come up higher in the neckline which I like because I'm looking for warmth. These are "undershirts" and you probably won't want to wear them by themselves due to how thin they are. They wash and dry well, I didn't notice any obvious or excessive shrinkage.
