The media could not be loaded. For starters I made my husband model this for me. He is 6’ 2”, roughly 240lbs and this fit him perfectly! The blanket has many features: The hood stuffs inside the blanket and closes together with 5 snaps. The hood is not detachable so you won’t loose it on the trail by accident. There is a built in pocket on the inside of the blanket which Velcro's to close. The pocket is big enough to hold a cell phone (we used a iPhone 14 Pro Max). The hood has draw strings to tighten around your head to keep in heat. The front of the blanket, when wrapped around you, has 3 snaps to hold it closed for hands free warmth. There are two hanging tabs on the blanket incase you’d need to hang it. The blanket also comes with a stuff sack that has a drawstring to close and a strap on the opposite side for ease of carrying.Stuffing the blanket into the stuff sack is easy. You do not have to roll it up for the blanket to fit. Just stuff it in and pull the drawstring to close.My husband wore this blanket around our house for less than 2 minutes and was already starting to sweat. We have not yet tested this out in the wilderness, so I can’t speak to the degree of warmth or water resistance yet. I will update my review once I have tested it outside in cold, wet conditions. The material is soft and does feel like it would hold up well against ripping or tearing.A few things I wish it had: A second pocket inside the blanket (opposite the current pocket), a fourth snap to hold the blanket closed at the bottom when wrapped around you (there’s room for one), an optional compression strap to make it smaller to carry for backpacking purposes (it wouldn’t need to be stored with the compression strap tightened as any kind of down material should be left non compressed to breathe and retain its loft).Overall I am happy with this purchase and it will make a great addition as a camping blanket in the tent or around the fire (I don’t recommend sitting too close as the material is probably not fire resistant). I can’t wait to try it out on my next backpacking trip!

The blanket is soft and warm. Too short for me and Im short. The crazy thing is that it smells really bad right out of the package! I’m not sure what the nasty smell is but it’s awful

I bought 2 of these blankets (1 for myself and 1 as a gift) because I liked the brand name. Immediately after opening, my daughter confiscated mine because she liked it better than her Rumpl. I was very impressed with the quality and warmth over other brands that our family uses when hiking and camping. Will definitely be purchasing another one for myself and would recommend Trail Hippie to friends and family.

I love this blanket! Not only is it warm, it also has a hood which makes it great for cold weather camping and outdoor concerts or events. I live in Colorado and the unpredictable weather forces you to be more prepared - and now I am!

Finally found a quality camping blanket! I took a gamble paying more for this item and it totally paid off. The other brands a cheap and were NOT warm but this one is quite cozy. I guess it is true, you get what you pay for and this blanket it totally worth the price!
