Sequin Art3D-Large Lily Pug Arts & Crafts Kits

While I will say that the final results are very pretty, this is not a craft for younger children. It requires quite a bit of patience and time. The sequins can be like glitter, they are small and end up all over the place. I bought 3 of these to work on during the school winter break. Because kids are into instant gratification, my granddaughters ages 6 and 9 grew weary of the whole project. I bought one for myself as well to work on with them, and I too, grew tired of the whole thing. The pins can hurt when you pick them up to attach the sequin. All in all, this was not for us. Too painstaking. I am still picking up the sequins Fromm the floor.

First off, it should be known that the Styrofoam canvas does not come with the outline of the features of the dog drawn on it. It is literally a blank canvas and you have to look at the picture provided and take your best stab at it....With that being said, I really enjoyed this craft once I got that squared away. - Relaxing project and super cute end result. I would not recommend this for anyone below the age of 12-13 because it is very tedious. There are easier versions of this that would be more suitable for beginners.

Very nice item... Hours of FunIt took a long time to finish but the final result was wonderful.My 10 year old Daughter did a Great job with this Arts and Crafts 3D Art Kit.She Loves how Eli turned out.

This owl was a very fun art project. It was relaxing and the end result is beautiful! This is a project for older kids… there are many tiny needles and sequins that could be a hazard for smaller children. Also, there were pictures of the owl to look off of, but it would have been easier if there was a pattern on the actual foam owl on where to put each sequin. I had a great time with the project.

It arrived in a timely manner and I was so excited to get started on it. The product is well organized, the directions are clear and all items were in the box and clearly identified.Unfortunately, on my recent greyhound trip they lost my suitcase and the almost complete Owl (that I was going to put in my dorm) was in it. I will be ordering another one.

My daughter asked for this and other "Owl crafts" to work on this summer to decorate her room at the sorority house this Fall. She is a Chi Omega so owls are a big deal for her. She loved this craft! It was challenging and took quite a while to complete but it turned out gorgeous! She has it sitting on her dresser in her room and gets compliments from all of her sorority sisters!

This is a great craft for someone who can draw the lines of where the sequin colors go. I had an artistic sister draw the lines following the guide that comes with it. The craft is adorable. It would be better if the lines were predrawn.

Con's: Requires some spatial drawing ability. The inside legs are a little challenging to get to.Pro's: Once I committed to the outlines I drew on to match the instructions, it was fun. The finished product didn't come out too shabby even though I really had a hard time drawing on the patterns. It was a nice activity. This is the 2nd one of these I've done. I recommend the cat, too.

10 year old daughter loves sequin art & this was her 1st 3D style version. Enjoyed it, but to my surprise, less so than the usual flat/picture frame styles and said was much harder going on her fingers (guess thicker foam to push into). Good on the whole though & now finished is pride of place on bedside table. And anything that takes hours of kids interest away from screen/tv time is a good thing!

I really enjoyed making this.When I finished I waited a couple days and sprayed it with 3M Display Mount Permanent Adhesive. If I didnt use the adhesive the sequins would have fallen off

You should know that these are very different to the usual sequin art kits.You do not have a pattern to follow and my daughter relied mainly on the box to judge where to place the pins.If you start at the trunk it topples over because of the weight.My daughter has loved finishing her elephant because she said its more challenging in 3d, takes more patience though too.Younger children might struggle with this but older children should enjoy the extra challenge.

I really enjoyed making this elephant it has a little bit hard it would be better if the polystyrene elephant had markings on it to guide you but it didn't I had to draw my on lines on it but other than that I really enjoyed it and it looks very nice and sparkly

Great quality and kept child happy and entertained for hours!
