Warriors Graphic Novel: The Prophecies Begin #1

The artwork is beautiful and brings the story to life in a very engaging way. It’s easy to follow and perfect for both new readers and fans of the series. The characters are interesting, and the story keeps you hooked from the beginning. It’s a great graphic novel—fun, exciting, and a pleasure to read. Highly recommend!

I got into reading Warrior Cats in 6th grade in 2010 when I found the Graystripe manga. Never reading a book prior or knowing anything about this series. The art, characters, and story pulled me in. That book and Graystripe have been my favorite since, I read every Warrior’s manga and book after that. To this day I’m beginning to slowly grow my Warrior Cat’s collection to show my support and love for this series. I won’t lie, I wasn’t sure about this revival and new art style. Even going back to the first book/series. Will they cut out important parts? Will they change the characters I know and love? What if it isn’t like the first time baby Brooke found a cool looking cat manga in a middle school library. Reading it and being pulled into the world, becoming a warrior herself with how much she was pulled in. Fighting, healing, leading, and grieving each of them. Well…. It pulled me back to that time and it was all new to me again. Erin Hunter chose the right people to revive the series with this adaptation. The more I read the more I slowed down because it was getting close to the end. I wanted more. More of this art and story, curious what was going to happen next. When I already know what to expect. There was a longing of wanting more and a dread for the end of this manga. I loved every second, minute, and hour this graphic novel has given me. I’m definitely pre-ordering the Yellowfang one next, Hardcover again as well. Because the art and details is amazing! I can’t describe the beauty in words just sitting here gushing at it. Also, I took a picture of a bonus page to show how much thought and love they put into this. There’s a bit more bonus pages but I’m not spoiling that. Buy this book and make it a hardcover, you’ll be reading this book over and over again. You’re gonna want a strong book to make it last longer 😅 I hope the artists do a signing soon cause I want them to sign this. They’re in Texas as well, so they won’t be too far for that. ❤️☺️ Be it a long time reader or new, this is a great book for Warrior fans. This graphic novel of the book series "Warrior Cats" is an amazing illustration! The story is already a masterpiece by itself but the art that this novel adds brings the whole story to life. The book itself is very high quaility and the cover is made of shiny and smooth paper, usally paper backs aren't of this high quality. This is an amazing graphic novel for any animal fan or warrior cats lover, both young and old. The book has a simple understandable diolog and background depiction. Although the book is for all audiences, may contain dark themes and cartoon graphic violence.

I got this for my 10yo on her bday back in March. She immediately read it and loved it and has talked about it all summer. I never read the series as a kid but I knew that she would definitely enjoy it. I finally sat down to read it and I have to say ITS SO GOOD! I had no idea what to expect. But the art is beautiful and the characters are so unique and fun to follow. The development throughout is thrilling and heartbreaking all at the same time. I kept having to stop and rush to my daughter to be like “I can’t believe this thing just happened!!” It’s been so nice sharing this with her. I’m about to start the 2nd one and I have the 3rd one preordered already.

I love this graphic novel so so much!! I love the art style and all the characters designs. But I was disappointed that some of my favorite parts of the into the wild books were left out. For example, fireheart carrying gorseKit when bringing windclan back but I understand they can’t fit every scene in the book.

My kids loved this book. It was one of the things that really helped kick off their love of reading, and now they have moved on to the full chapter books. They got totally wrapped up in the different clans and all the lore, and it really captured their imagination. I am pretty strict about what my kids read, and I did not find anything concerning here besides the normal Warriors-style violence and the cats eating mice, which is just part of the whole cat thing. Other than that, I felt totally fine with it. This was a really fun read and a great introduction to the Warriors world.
