These work great!!! The amount of material removed is consistent with the grit number, and it remains constant over time. On top of that, they last a long time. Dust extraction works very well. Overall, while sanding, I worry about technique and my movements, I do not worry about the tool.

These 3M Xtract Cubitron II sanding discs are a game-changer for dust-free sanding. The net construction really helps minimize airborne particles, which keeps the workspace cleaner and safer. I used the 240+ grit for fine finishing on wood and metal, and the cut was consistent and aggressive without clogging. The discs also lasted longer than expected, even under heavy use. My only minor gripe is that they’re a bit pricier than standard discs, but the performance and dust control make it worth it.

I now have these sanding discs in all the grits I use in woodworking, (80-120-180-240). The dust extraction works perfectly through the mesh. They work well for hand sanding with the velcro blocks too since there is no big dust extraction holes that like to tear. They sand really fast saving you time and continue to do so for much longer than the cheapest ones. So much longer that you will save money simply by not having to replace the disc so often. When sanding in stages you do most of the work with 80-120 grit and then the finer grits take minimal effort to smooth the surface. This means the finer grits go even longer without needing to be replaced. Worth every penny and I will not go back to cheaper discs for as long as these are available.

Worth the money. Lasts significantly longer than cheaper brands - and does a great job. Was skeptical at first due to price, but now making these my primary sanding discs.
