Ordered two of these at the same time. They were delivered promptly, at exactly the same time, but were wrapped separately in two huge boxes, full of numerous sheets of brown paper. The items weren't even wrapped in the brown paper.The dressing sticks themselves seem fine and good value for money, but I have never seen such a waste of wrapping materials.

It's a bit bigger and heavier than I was expecting. As my hands are badly damaged by rheumatoid arthritis, I find it a bit hard to use. For example, I wanted it because my shoulders are also rubbish; I hoped to tip it over my shoulder to lift bra straps or help pull coats up, but it's a bit unwieldy for that given its weight. So I have gone back to using my grandma's old bamboo backscratcher. Just hope it doesn't break under the weight of my new wool duffel coat!

Had one in use for several years, so bought a second to keep in bathroom, it is useful in dressing & shoes, on or off, good value for money

When you're knee high to grasshopper and cant reach you're own mugs in your kitchen, because your husband built the cupboards too high, this is awesome. You just need to make sure you're a good catch when yanking things from the top shelf...tins of baked beans really do hurt when they hit your head...

I wanted this stick to help me do long zips up on dresses. For that purpose I'm afraid it was absolutely useless. It was too long to go in a small suitcase and the hook on the end was the size of a 'cup hook' - far too large for a dress zip, or anything else I could think of.Perhaps that was not what it was meant for.

Great item does the job for little cost..

I can see that these items are useful so I have given a 5 star rating for it. however my mum has dementia and I have been unable to teach her how to use this effectively. I found the Patterson Medical Sliplift Pants Aid of better use although the sliplift is considerable more expensive.
