This tool helped me successfully install 34 handles into a brand new set of cabinets. Not a single mistake, which I was pleasantly surprised by (since this was a first for me).However, it’s not a foolproof tool, which is what I thought I was getting, and that’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. It still requires a tape measure/pencil to measure and mark where you will place each handle or knob. There may be jigs out there that allow you to set “permanent” limiters for both horizontal and vertical, but this isn’t it. I used it to maintain exact placement vertically, while I measured, marked and eyeballed the horizontal.

This jig originally came with an incomplete manufacturing process or quality control over sight. One of the two holes on the end was not threaded like the other. It did not stop me from installing flush face drilled holes although. I figured this is a good time for an evaluation report on that all important CUSTOMER SUPPORT.It took two days after arrival for me to make my inspection but when I did, the Amazon form was ready and waiting to serve me. It even has a clickable form to lead me to the right place to fill in my squawk information. As soon as I completed the form and selected a replacement, a return was fired to my email basket. It gave me a choice of return locations and the kindness to just drop it off with out repackaging beyond putting it back in its original box. Don't even bother with writing a label. Immediately with out my knowledge a new replacement order was processed and now 2 days later, I have a replacement. I will be dropping the original defective unit off at my local UPS store tomorrow. Amazon and Auxtur get another set of 5 stars. ItThe product is sturdy and nicely finished. It is worth the replacement issue to have in my tool box. The accuracy is well within 1/32 in. My goal (on the side) is to also use it as a doweling jig. The locating shoulder is not wide so a rocking action can occur. Firmly clamping in place prior to drilling can make a big different. This machine will allow for repeatable pilot holes in the center of 1/2 inch thick board stock. I give it 5 stars.=====I took the return to my local UPS store and was out within two minutes. The teller took the item from my hand and asked it I would like a receipt-conformation to which I said YES. Boom, all was done, easy breezy. 5 stars again.

Nice little tool with big features must have tool

This AUXTUR Cabinet Hardware Jig was just what I needed to accurately drill all the holes in our new cabinets in order to install the knobs and handle. This tool is very durable, well made and pretty easy to figure out and to use. You really have to press this tool fairly hard against the door or drawer face that you are drilling into, so it doesn't move around while getting your hole started, otherwise it will not be accurate. I would say that this tool was a good value for what it allowed me to accomplish.
