Brother HL-L2400DWE Mono Laser Printer with EcoPro subscription,

Until now we’ve had an all-in-one printer scanner copier, but in fact all we really ever print are package return labels or package labels for items we are posting or email and work related documents, so this was bought to facilitate quick and easy printing of stuff like that, I mean who really prints photos at home these days anyway? The unit has a bigger footprint than other monochrome printers I had been looking at but I decided that being able to load a tray of appear rather than having to add as needed was a good trade off for us. Setup involved clicking the cartridge in ace, adding appear to the tray, plugging in and connecting to WiFi. All very easy and quick with good but brief instruction. I’d say I printed my first page within 5 minutes of opening the box! One factor choosing a monochrome laserjet printer was cost of prints. This comes with a ‘starter’ print cartridge, however it says will print about 700 pages, so initially this may take us a while to use up so Inrefrained from adding an additional cartridge to my basket. Replacement cartridges are quite expensive but when I looked at the cost of the 5 colours needs for my old printer and the fact that sometimes it was weeks between prints so the ink dried up, this printer won’t suffer that issue and in fact will be way more cost effective over time. I love the fact that it’s wifi connected to my home network and we can very quickly and easily connect and print from out phones, laptops and tablets with no problem at all. Eprint, Apple air print and other wireless printing tools are all catered for. Print quality so far is excellent. We haven’t printed any complicated images or tried to print photos in black and white yet although that was not what we purchased this printer for. Overall, this is a solid product that is a really good price if you are needing a small printer with effortless black and white printing.

I did quite a bit of research before deciding on this one. I need a printer because I’m disabled and can’t write with a pen anymore. But I don’t use them all that often, so inkjet printers are useless, as they dry up if you don’t use them constantly. Hence why I needed a laser printer. It’s a mono printer, so only prints in black and white. But that’s great for me as that’s all I need. Just to print letters off. It’s fast and it prints beautifully. Not a single error like you often get with inkjets. It also connects to the Brother Mobile connect app with iOS and android. You don’t even need a PC. You can print straight from your phone over WiFi. I have also connected it to my computer though and it works flawlessly. Another great thing about it is that the ink is great value. You can get compatibles for less than £20 for it from the brother website or via the app. It’s also cheaper on Amazon than a lot of other retailers. All in all, I’m really impressed and glad I did my research.

The printer itself is perfectly fine. Good print quality, fast printing, duplex printing is great, wireless is great. Speaking of wireless, here's the reason I knocked one star off. The instructions are simply terrible and don't work. I worked my way through the menus myself to get WiFi working, but I've got the advantage of being a former comms engineer. I use Linux, and there's the other problem. The instructions for installing the software are bad too. I had to web search to find out what was really needed. Also, the EcoPro free 4 months didn't happen, as the signup locked up as I was completing it and I can't get back in. Not bothered by that though, as it's cheaper to buy your own OEM toners than pay £1.99 a month. But if you can get over the jenky software setup, it's a great printer that I'd recommend for anyone needing to print documents, emails, invoices and the like.

Very easy to set up and use. Replaced a flaky (from new HP). Never misses a beat and plenty fast by comparison. Quiet and little or no odours.

Setup of the printer was very straightforward, though I wish manufacturers would write in English rather than try to say everything with diagrams. The only thing you have to do really is open the front and stick in the laser cartridge. I'm using USB rather than wireless so I can't comment on the WIFI aspect. Windows 10 detected the printer without difficulty. The only snag which required change to the driver settings was to set to "duplex enabled", in order to choose double-sided printing. You then normally choose long-sided and the printer does one page then sucks it back in to do the other. Paper output is on top, though still flat, no raised panel like some of the older printers had - but that means it's not so easy to use the printer as a general purpose surface. I put a tea cloth on the top when not in use. It can take a ton of paper at any one time in the tray at the front. One annoyance is there does not seem to be a proper off switch. I don't print every day, so I have to unplug the printer. There is what seems to be an offline/standby button but it doesn't seem to do anything. Print output is just plain gorgeous, and fast, no fuzzy inkjet problems any more. Really in terms of price this is very good indeed, I just hope it has longevity.

Bought it at the end of Feb 2026 - been great and not used heavily, but 3 months to the day and it has failed - Replace Toner - all jammed - was super careful, watched the YouTube vids and alas I am stuck - waste of money

My inkjet printer gave up after only a few years so I decided to try a laser printer, hoping it would be quicker and more cost effective in the long run. I wanted something fairly small which would automatically print double sided, and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. From unboxing to 1st print took less than 10 minutes. Set up was easy, connecting to the WiFi was simple using the app. Print quality is excellent. It is quick, connects via apple print, double sided printing with no issues and much quieter than my previous printer. If there was a colour option available it would be perfect but sadly to have that the bulk of any laser printer increases dramatically. Highly recommended

So good. Quite remarkable that even after all these years Brother laser printers can still be depended upon and haven't degraded in quality like other brands have. Truly worthwhile purchase.

Ho acquistato questa stampante a 123 euro in sconto qualche giorno fa e sono più che soddisfatta, i modelli di stampante laser Wi-Fi con fronte retro manuale e senza cassetto per la carta costano poco di meno. Trasporto impeccabile e velocissimo, in pochi minuti l’ho avviata e seguendo le semplici istruzioni sul foglio presente nel pacco l’ho collegata al Wi-Fi di casa. Sia i cellulari sia il pc l’hanno subito riconosciuta e ho potuto stampare senza problemi. Il driver base di Windows 10 la riconosce e funziona, ma per migliore compatibilità (ad esempio per chi visualizza i pdf da browser) consiglio di collegarsi direttamente al sito della Brother per scaricare il driver di questo modello, tralasciando di utilizzare il cd comunque incluso. L’ho posizionata in uno scaffale con ampiezza e profondità adeguata, lasciando 22 cm di altezza funziona e si manovra bene. Il costruttore consiglia comunque di avere almeno 10 cm di spazio libero in altezza, 12 dietro e 10 ai lati. Che dire, è nuova e tutto ok, aggiornerò la recensione in caso di problemi. Il toner incluso si inserisce con facilità, basta togliere il supporto arancione di protezione. Il vano è frontale sopra il cassetto carta. Vale 700 copie essendo quello minimo in dotazione, ma per il mio uso conto di averlo con me per molto tempo. Dalle impostazioni è stato facile inserire di default la modalità di risparmio toner, stampa chiaro ma leggibile. La stampa normale mi sembra buona anche se non eccelsa. Il fronte-retro automatico funziona a meraviglia.

Wir nutzen den Brother HL-L2350DW inzwischen seit mehreren Jahren im Alltag und sind nach wie vor sehr zufrieden. Der Drucker läuft bei uns regelmäßig auch bei größeren Druckaufträgen – und das bislang komplett ohne Probleme oder Ausfälle. Die Druckgeschwindigkeit ist angenehm hoch und gerade bei Textdokumenten liefert er ein sauberes, scharfes Druckbild. Auch der automatische Duplexdruck funktioniert zuverlässig und spart im Alltag einiges an Papier. Für Farbdrucke und Fotos verwenden wir zusätzlich unseren Brother MFC-J1010DW, sodass der Laserdrucker bei uns klar für den Schwarzweiß-Druck zuständig ist – genau dafür ist er unserer Meinung nach ideal geeignet. Besonders positiv überrascht hat uns die Langlebigkeit: Selbst nach längerer Nutzung zeigt das Gerät keine Schwächen. Auch mit kompatiblem Toner haben wir mittlerweile sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Nach einigem Ausprobieren haben wir eine Alternative gefunden, die qualitativ absolut mit dem Original mithalten kann – ohne sichtbare Unterschiede im Druckbild. Vorteile: ✅ Sehr zuverlässig, auch bei hohem Druckvolumen ✅ Schneller Druck und gute Qualität bei Texten ✅ Problemloser Duplexdruck ✅ Kompakt und platzsparend ✅ Funktioniert auch mit gutem kompatiblen Toner einwandfrei Nachteile: ⛔ Kein Farbdruck (für uns aber bewusst so gewählt) 💡 Fazit: Wer einen soliden, langlebigen Schwarzweiß-Laserdrucker für den Alltag sucht, macht hier definitiv nichts falsch. Für uns eine klare Empfehlung – gerade in Kombination mit einem separaten Farbdrucker eine sehr praktische Lösung. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Item as described in the description. I love it! It prints fast and I love the wifi. Best to order another toner if you're printing a lot more pages. As the first toner given with your printer is not 3000 pages it's a lot less. So if you see the toner on special buy it in bulk.
