Dreamer's Nightmare (The Dragon Prince Graphic Novel #4) Paperback – October 1, 2024

The art style is really cute and both my ten year old niece and I enjoyed seeing more of the characters at a younger age with some awesome world building bits thrown in. Perfect thing to read while waiting for Season 7 in December!

This book is required for all the nuances of the tv show.My daughter loved it and was certain to pause the show to tell me the details from the book before continuing the episode.

The story itself is engaging, and the illustrations a perfect match. Great for any fan of the show!

Little brothers can really be a pain, but when your little brother is the heir to the kingdom, things can be even more annoying as everyone expects YOU to be the good brother and watch over the young prince. But, Callum IS a good son and brother and the two are always to be found in each other's company. And so, the recent loss of a friend has the King on a diplomatic mission and the two princes are accompanying him as a chance to give them both more exposure into Prince Ezran's future duties as King. It's during this trip that Callum begins to realize that his brother has a certain affinity with animals, including an ability to bond with even the most potentially dangerous. And it's that burgeoning ability that will become the most critical in solving the mystery of the strange events that are ravaging the city they have come to visit.Scholastic once more dives into the world of the DRAGON PRINCE with its 4th graphic novel set in that universe. This reads as the earliest in the time line. These books specifically state that they are Canon and tell the tales of Callum and Ezran as they grow to become the King and Mage that awaits them in the future. The elements introduced in this story reinforce those shown in the animated series, though Ezran's abilities with regard to his ability to speak with all creatures are presented in a vastly different way here. Not a big deal, but makes sense when you realize that the book is intended for younger readers and so is much more straightforward in that presentation.
