NUOBELL Adjustable Dumbbells 5-80 lbs: Replace 16 Sets, Ideal for Home Gym Weight Bench & Press

I have been using the adjustable 50 pound core fitness dumbbells for about 8 years now and never had issue with them, other than they are limited in weight to only 50 pounds. I got the 80 pound adjustable nuobells as an upgrade, and boy are they awesome. When I first opened the box one of the dumbbell cradles had a cracked plastic part that made it more difficult to rerack the weight. However, after emailing customer support, they sent out a replacement cradle to me that same day and at no charge, and it arrived after about a week. I won't dock a star for the item being slightly damaged out of the box because sometimes it happens. Now onto the dumbbells...Pros-The cast iron plates just look and feel awesome. No issues with the plates feeling insecure and the plates themselves are very durable.I love the handles! The steel grip with the knurling feels like an actual gym dumbbell.The 80 pound max weight is such a game changer for me. While 80 isn't quite enough for some exercises (chest press, db rows, shrugs), it is still enough to get in the work I need.Huge space saver and much more economical than getting 16 different pairs of dumbbells.Cons-Some connector parts of the dumbbell are plastic and only time will tell how they hold up.You can't just drop these. Although it seems fairly durable, you will most certainly break the plastic connectors if you are carelessly throwing them around. Not that I would drop them anyways, but you just have to treat them with respect. If you want dumbbells you can abuse and drop, then you need solid cast iron or rubber coated ones.This product is an absolute must have for any home gym. The price point is very high, but this is absolutely worth it.Edit: I have been using these for over a year now and they have held up flawlessly. I frequently use the full 80 pound weight and the plastic connector pieces are showing no signs of wear. Just treat them with respect and as long as you arent dropping them or aggressively reracking them, they will hold up fine. These are the best investment I have ever made in my home gym, they are worth the price!

Haven't really broken them in yet. I gave them a few test runs.Pros: Perfect for a garage/home gym. They don't take up much space. They get the job done for just about anything you need them to.Cons: Not the smoothest transition when shifting to a new weight. I do worry about bumping them together or dropping them and them busting. Lots of plastic. Pretty expensive for what you get too.Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase for the time being.

I use these daily. Easy to adjust weights and get after it. I love they go to 80lbs so you can get more of a workout than with the 50lb adjustable weights. No difficulty doing any workouts the hand grip and weights don’t interfere with the wrist or forearms. Great product.

These are great! I was concerned how they would be handled during shipping because of the weight. They were well packaged and showed up perfect. The quick change of weight has made my workouts much more efficient and enjoyable.

First I would like to thank Finer Form, the company selling these through Amazon, for exemplary customer service. Through no fault of their own the dumbbell handles broke and they immediately replaced them, no questions asked. Five stars for them.The Nuobell dumbbells are also incredible. A quick turn of the wrist and you can adjust the weight. And love that they go from 5-80 lbs.The only knock on these dumbbells is that for the price, the plastic parts should be eliminated. They easily break and then turning the handle to get different weights becomes nearly impossible and cannot be fixed as a small plastic piece appears to break. For $800 it seems like they should be more durable. In both instances when the plastic parts broke it was during a bench press set and then dropping them to the floor from about 2 feet up. So if you do purchase these realize that you cannot drop them from any height.

Just finished my first workout with these, and I'm impressed! The locking system feels really secure and solid. The packaging was tough enough to withstand the hulk —it was that good! The quality is spot-on, with precise and clean craftsmanship. Yes, they’re a bit on the pricier side, but definitely more cost-effective and space-saving than buying multiple sets in 5-pound increments. My only minor gripe is that the edges are a little sharp—not enough to cut you, but if you bump into them the wrong way, you’ll definitely notice. Overall, I highly recommend them!

Super easy to adjust weight. No problems at all unlike reviews I read for other dumbbells.

The media could not be loaded. SECOND EDIT: they replaced both handles and these terrible plastic pieces broke within a few weeks. I guess I learned a $900 lesson for everyone else. DO NOT BUY THESE DUMBELLS or anything else from this company.EDIT: Dumbells are now WORTHLESS. The selector doesn’t work at all, plates fall off while using, it so hard to turn at lower weights. They are $900 paper weights. Dont waste your money.The handle is nice and the dumbbell itself isn’t to big like some other brands. However, I have had these less than 2 months and spin weight selector is very difficult to move. Actually, most people would find it impossible to spin it’s so hard.Also, the half plate on the inside part of the dumbbell has fell off randomly since I have had them. You will move the dumbbell and a 5lb plate will randomly just fall offThey are hard to put back in their rack. It doesn’t just go right in like 90% or other brands. They have to be placed perfectly or they won’t go at all.Save your money and buy another set for much cheaper.
