Easy to set up and use- very effective
I've been using this for several months now. I have a very damp stone cottage! It really sucks the water out and is super easy to get up and running. I'm terrible at reading directions but all I do is set it to automatic and set a target of humidity (58%) and the machine does the rest.Easy to manually dump out the water and an alarm sounds and it stops when the bucket is full.Highly recommend. Really the only slight problem is its heavy for me to carry up and down stairs but otherwise a good buy.

This is very efficient
Bought this to help dry washing and purify the air. Does a great job. Quiet, easy to use, move about and empty. Main plus is you don't have to buy filters! It has a built in silver filter that just needs occasional dusting.

Dries clothes quickly
Purchased this primarily for drying clothes to reduce condensation. Once drying moves indoors, the windows of the room literally run with water overnight and the room smells musty. Set this on continuous mode positioned between two airers and left it running for around 5 hours. Returned to rearrange clothes a few times (those closest obviously dry first). Most clothes were 90% or more dry - even jeans - and the air con had collected around 3 litres of water. Left the clothes overnight to finish off without air con and window was dry, no damp smell. Definitely worth the outlay, faster drying - cheaper than a tumble dryer (and no shrunk clothes!) - no condensation or damp. Easy to operate, moves well on castors, looks good.

Clothes drying dehumidifier
Good dehumidifier for drying clothes which is the reason I bought it.I now hang my clean wet clothes in my bathroom, some on clothes hangers from my shower curtain rail, some on a clothes airer.I do this after taking a shower so it dries my wet room at the same time.In my opinion it is very quiet, a lot quieter than my bathroom extractor fan.It can take 4 to 5 hours to dry them and I do swap the clothes on the airer around occasionally. It is surprising how much water the machine actually draws out, I've not tried the continuous flow pipe yet but this looks very easy to install.Very simple to use with a timer setting as well.It is a nice size and very easy to manoeuvre with its castors, it has quite a long lead, my plug socket is in the hallway and I don't need an extension lead. Good value for money, I have now sold my tumble dryer.

Excellent Dehumidifier
First time buying a dehumidifier and glad I picked this one. It’s definitely effective, (judging by the amount of water it pulls from the air) and cheap to run. Well built and heavy, but easily movable. Noise is a constant hum - but the longer you use it, the more you become accustomed to it. 5 stars from me.

Compact, Quiet, Effective
This dehumidifier is drawing lots of water from the air since it's been extremely humid here lately with a daytime rH around 80% and the nighttime rH at 100%. The room I'm using it in measures about 157 square feet (1280 cubic feet) and I'm emptying the half gallon water bin 2-3 times a day. Thought about using the continuous drain hose with a plastic tote yet I'd most likely forget to empty it and make a mess everywhere. I don't mind emptying and like that it beeps to notify when it's full. One of the reviewers was upset and gave one star because they misunderstood the water capacity amount vs the average number of pints that can be extracted in a 24 hour timeframe based upon air temperature and rH. 30 pints is 4.5 gallons so obviously it's not going to hold that much in the tank. LoL It'd be super heavy and tough to empty if it held that much. The bogus bad reviews made me hesitant to choose this seller yet I'm very happy that I did. The shipping was fast and the packaging was solid with plenty of cushion. Am glad too since the Amazon warehouse put the box on it's side inside of a bigger box without any padding, even though the arrows say this side up, fragile, handle with care. That being said I made sure to unbox and let it sit for more than the minimum 24 hours before plugging it in. When it powered up the room's rH was a dangerous 84%, yet i literally watched the numbers drop to 60% within hours. Sweet relief from humidity. It does produce some heat when the compressor is running, yet it's quiet with a lower decibel level than the other seven 30 pint dehumidifiers that I had in my Amazon cart for several days while debating on the best choice in terms of quality, efficiency, and affordability. Would definitely recommend this seller and their products based upon the pleasant shopping experience and the relief that this machine provides to me, an asthmatic who lives in a humid area and can't afford air conditioning. The heat that it emits will be nice from October until May when it's cool outside, because this room is always humid even during the cold months. Whenever the air gets too hot I simply power it off and put the fans on high speed. Then I turn it back on after awhile and watch the rH gradually drop from +80% to 60-65%. Worth every penny. Thank you so much.

Quiet and so far it working well
I bought this when the one we paid triple this price for died after two years. Look at the dimensions. This unit is very small compared to many you would find made for large areas like a basement.I waited the recommended 24hours before plugging the unit in. It is very quiet and started pulling moisture out of the air soon after being turned on. After i had to empty it the first time, i set the unit on the counter in my finished basement and used the hose to run water directly in to the sink. after two days i noticed the air smelled better and i could tell the air is dryer. So far i am really happy with this dehumidifier. If i hav any issues over the next year i will edit this review l.

Works Pretty Well, Not for Extremely Wet Environments or Any Space Larger Than 2000sq. ft.
**READ THE WARNING label on the side! Let the unit sit upright for 24 hours first to let the fluids settle properly, or it will not function properly!**Summary: works well, just don't expect a miracle because it's a smaller dehumidifier, but for the price and for what it is designed as, I am happy with it and it makes my house much more comfortable. It is smaller than I expected, and I was unsure if it would perform well enough. My Florida house is old, not well insulated, hard to keep cool with central air alone, and about 2000 sq. ft. overall. The indoor humidity reaches 70-80%, and the AC struggles during the high heat to keep the temp below 78F, even if I start the morning running it at 70F. The manual fails to mention this, but luckily I noticed the warning label on the side of the machine (above). After sitting for 24 hours, the unit was set up in the central part of the house, and it runs constantly. It usually manages to keep the humidity around 50-65% depending on the weather. On really humid days, it will fill up 3-4 times in 24 hours. Typically, I am emptying it twice in 24 hours, once in the morning and once in the evening. So that's about 1-2 liters of water in a day. If my AC worked better, it would likely keep the humidity even lower, but if my house was any bigger, it would probably not be strong enough. It's also simple to use, easy to read, and easy to move around. So, for the price, I think it's a good purchase. It's just effective enough for my situation, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Finally! A dehumidifer that’s worth talking about….
I live in Florida so a dehumidifier is absolutely necessary during the summer to keep things comfortable and keep the AC from running on overdrive. I had a great one when I first moved here and unfortunately the grandbaby got a hold of it and broke it! This was at the end of fall last year and figured I’d just order a new one once we got closer to summer time.Summer came early this year and well, the same dehumidifier I had before that worked great, was no longer available. So I start hunting for a new one and holy crap - WHY ARE THERE SO MANY MORE OPTIONS NOW?!? I needed something quickly as the humidity went from tolerable to out of control what felt like, overnight. I was striking out with every dehumidifier I ordered. I was getting really frustrated with having to send ones back because they were blowing too much heat out, or not picking up enough humidity out of the air, or it was too small, etc etc etc. This one caught my eye but it was going to take a week to get (which is the only con so far). I decided I’m tired of striking out so let’s order this one, suffer for the week and hope for the best.Outside of the delivery driver delivering the box upside down (when the side of the box literally said THIS SIDE UP), I’ve been so thrilled with this dehumidifier and it’s by far exceeding my expectations and was worth the wait! This thing started filling up nearly immediately! It’s heavy (but has wheels) and has been working super well. I’m very pleased and this Floridian is very thankful!
