Super Clean Multi-Surface All Purpose Cleaner Degreaser Spray, Biodegradable, Full Concentrate, Scent Free, 32 Ounce

OK, so it's not for painted surfaces or anything that has a special coating, but if you have a greasy under-cabinet exhaust hood this is your solution. I have a stainless steel Vent a Hood, mid-range 36" 2 fan hood exhaust. This appliance is very effective, which means that there is a huge amount of grease in the trap and on the fan blades. I have used so many different degreasers that I can say I have some expertise in the area. This stuff is great. It did take the paint off the fan blades inside the exhaust, but the paint had been chipping from other cleaners and scrubbing. The fans are not visible until you disassemble the hood for cleaning, so who cares? The point is that this product cuts the cleaning time for my hood in half. It used to take me at least an hour for a superficial cleaning of the trap. I don't have a filter, rather the grease collects in the bottom of the fan housing. After wiping out the grease, I would wash the fan housing 3-5 times before it would seem clean. This product only required 2 applications and it was squeaky clean. My fans are not removable, so I have to spray and wipe them. This can take another hour. Not anymore! I sprayed the product on, used a brush, then sprayed hot clean water from a bottle on the fans. The grease just melts off.I also used this on my dad's exhaust fan, which is at least 50 years old. He has a metal mesh filter, which I've replaced a couple of time because it just won't get clean. Not anymore! This stuff melted decades-old built up grease inside this dinosaur exhaust hood. There were removable pieces that I didn't know could be removed because the old grease had glued them down.Last, I've used this on road grime on my car (diluted and rinsed quickly) and unwittingly on my kitchen pipes. My kitchen was remodeled and there are too many turns for the drain pipe. It always clogs up over time. While rinsing my exhaust hood, the cleaner was also cleaning out my drain pipe. I could not believe how fast it drained. It's not like I was using it full strength to unclog my pipes. I was rinsing off the greasy hood parts! It still cleared the drain.This product does not feel or smell caustic. I got some on my arms above the glove. It did not burn. I rinsed fairly quickly, but this happened several time and I had no reaction on my skin. My anti-mildew shower cleaner is more caustic than this stuff. I plan to get more and try it on the inside of my Weber lid.

Wow! Just WOW. I purchased this to clean 21 years of grease build up in my kitchen. The vent hood, the gas cook top, the cabinets above - all covered in tacky goo.I have tried everything I could think of to cut the greasy build-up. Dawn dish washing liquid straight onto a damp sponge. Pine Sol. 409. Nothing did the trick. I read the great reviews on SuperClean Cleaner Degreaser so I figured I had nothing to lose.It arrived within a couple of days and I set to work. First I took down the filter from under the vent hood. I set it in the sink and gave it a thorough spray with SuperClean Cleaner Degreaser. I let it sit for less than 5 minutes, tops. I then rinsed it off with hot water. Holy moly! The grease was just GONE! I took a picture showing the difference. Amazing!I used it on the cook top. It cut through dried on grease that I have never been able to clean before. It melted the built up grease on the burner grates. It left the underside and top of the vent hood squeaky clean. I even sprayed it on the cabinets around and over the cook top and gave them a quick wipe down. Perfection.My suggestion is this. Don't leave it on and let it dry on the cabinets. I was taking a calculated risk spraying it on the cabinets. I sprayed it on them. Waited less than a minute and wiped off. Then followed with a damp rag to wipe any residue that might remain off. The cabinet's finish was in no way compromised.On the cook top, I sprayed the SuperClean on and let it sit for a few minutes then wiped it down. I did this several times on the burner I used the most since it was really built up and nasty. That burner still needs some additional work but it's cut through about 75% of the grossness already. Considering it's 21 years of build up, I am impressed it's even done that much.SuperClean Cleaner Degreaser does leave a haze (not permanently) so I finished up with a mixture I keep in a spray bottle of half original Pine Sol and half water to put the shine back on the cook top. Check out the photo showing the results of my labor.By the way, original Pine Sol and water is the best thing for regular maintenance of your surfaces and preventing that greasy build up in the first place. Also, that same mixture will stop pests in their tracks. I'm not talking about husbands or wives. The bug kind. Spray gnats, flies, ants, etc. and BAM, no more bugs. Plus, they smell lovely afterwards. ;-)Go getcha some of this stuff. You won't be sorry!

Yup this thing cuts grease. It can clean a engine bay. Very tough, I sprayed a good amount and it works crazy nice, still have a bunch left. This stuff works really good and has good cheap price, you'll have the bottlenose a bit.The way I used it was spray and brush, and then rinsing with water. I guess you don't want this stuff to harden on but I was not fast and had no problems. I guess another potential problem is this cleaner can be too strong and not suitable for all surfaces. I spot treated two spots in the vehicle with great success, making sure to hit it with water after for what it's worth.There are a lot of cleaning product out there that do certain things and I found this one to for sure cover a niche and deserves a unique spot in your arsenal of cleaning tools. I recommend it because it works and works good among other things I considered

I bought the SuperClean cleaner based on other reviews claiming it was the greatest product ever created for cleaning BBQ grills. While I have to admit that it is a "better" cleaner for that purpose, it still falls short in the end. The only product, in my personal experience, that will get a BBQ grill shiny clean is the Magic Stone, but even that's not 100% perfect, and it requires lots of elbow grease. However, the Magic Stone worked a lot easier after using the SuperClean first. I normally use a 1:3 solution of Simple Green Pro-HD Cleaner/Degreaser for cleaning and (especially) degreasing; but I have to admit that the SuperClean did a better job of cleaning the grill, or at least softening up the crud so that the Magic Stone could do it's job more easily. This is my grill cleaner from now on. However, for the record, I still use the Simple Green Pro-HD to clean everything else on the BBQ other than the grates.Another task I've discovered this product excels at is removing gum from the soles of your shoes. I was working in the back yard when I noticed rocks, pebbles, and other crud sticking to the bottom of my shoe, and upon examination discovered gum caked on it. The SuperClean was within reach, so I removed my shoe, sprayed (soaked) the bottom and let the SuperClean sit in the crevices for a minute or two, then used the jet spray on the garden hose nozzle. The gum came right off without having to scrape it out with a knife. I was pretty impressed.I'm not going to give up the Simple Green Pro-HD--especially considering that, depending on your mixing ratios (it's a concentrate), you can get four-to-ten gallons of product for less than $15--but for the first time since I started using the Pro-HD, it now has some legitimate competition from this SuperClean stuff.=============Update 9/11/2017:Forget about the gum-on-the-shoe application. It happened to me again, and I immediately reached for the SuperClean after having such a successful experience the first time, but this time it didn't do a dang thing. I must have just gotten lucky the first time.=============

I used this to clean a stainless steel range hood that had eight years of tacky grease built up on it. I had previously tried everything from soap and water to various common household cleaners, but nothing could cut through the grease. Recently I happened to see SuperClean in a YouTube video about cleaning grease from a range hood and decided to give it a try. It worked like magic and without much scrubbing needed. It has transform our hood from a sticky, greasy mess into something that looks new again.See my attached pictures. Note that the 'before' picture showing the top of the hood was taken after I had already made several swipes over the surface with this product. (I didn't think to take a 'before' picture sooner.) The obvious patches of grease in that shot are essentially what the entire surface looked like before I began. The second hood shot shows it after cleaning. SuperClean did leave a slight film on the stainless surface, as you can see. It would probably have washed off easily with water, but I used Hope's Perfect Stainless to polish the metal instead (as seen in the last hood shot). Now the hood shines like it's brand new again. The white plastic piece in the other shots is the cover for the light bulbs. The before and after shots speak for themselves. This stuff works.Note that some of the one-star reviewers say SuperClean ruined their painted surfaces, which many range hoods have. I only used it on a stainless steel hood and it's white plastic light cover (which it did not damage). On those surfaces, this stuff worked like a charm, but, given the experience of others, I would be very cautions about using this on a painted hood. The product label even advises you to pre-test on an inconspicuous area first.Also note that, despite the claim that this product contains "biodegradable detergents," the label cautions you to avoid breathing the vapors and to wear eye protection and chemical-resistant gloves when using. It contains Sodium Hydroxide and Sodium Metasilicate. If you don't already have any, I suggest you pick up a pair of nitrile cleaning gloves when you order this.

I have used this product for years and rave about its ability to clean everything. It's a great degreaser and works miracles on plastic items like waste baskets, toys, and car interiors. I always keep a spray bottle in the laundry room because its the best product I've found for removing greasy stains......or any other stain. Buy it!

Works well

I saw a guy in YouTube clean a grimy shower pan like mine with this stuff- sprayed it on and pretty much wiped it off a little later on without scrubbing so I gave it a try.I’m re-doing a shower after moving into a new (to us) home & trying to reuse the old shower pan, which has evidently not been cleaned in years.The product does clearly work, though even after soaking at 100% concentration and using considerable “elbow grease”, and about half of the spray container over the course of an hour or so- there is still stubborn grease that will not come out.I’m certain if I treat this a few more times over a couple more days it will come clean. So, the product is good… but as stated above, it’s just not a miracle solution to spray on and wipe off for this application.Also, it’s worth noting that it did oxidize my newly installed brass drain. Probably just aesthetic damage but worth noting!
