Good small size, OK camera, should cost less though
Now, the strengths of this camera only comprise good view angle and resolution in a small size/format, which is great for some applications.Everything else is poor though, image is a bit dark, and lacks the crisp of contrast and color you'd expect from a 5MP camera even in good lighting.I have seen 1080p cameras that (apart for the better resolution) they overall showed a lot better and clearer picture at half the cost. This camera should cost a lot less!!!

A pretty good webcam with no microphone
This is a very simple webcam that has pretty good picture. It is wide angle, so I don't appear as large on the screen as others do. Whether that's a bug or a feature is a personal choice. I like this cam has no mic. I have a USB mic I plug in when I want to use it. I am paranoid so I don't want a mic always listening to me. This cam comes with a lens cap, which I find very handy. This unit is like something that would come with an arduino kit more than a polished consumer item. Again, whether that is a bug or a feature is up to you. To me it is a feature. This is a camera I can use for a lot of electronics hobby projects as well as a functional webcam for work meetings online.

Not that impressed.
This was a very average-at-best product experience. The mount doesn’t like to hold the rotation well, so I added some thin rubber washers. There is really no decent instructions either included or online. This was the first time I had experience with M8/M12 lenses and didn’t know to manually focus you loosen the locknut and adjust the lens out or in on the threading. The included cable is very short and no longer option is available to buy. The connector is a JST ZH connector if you need to fabricate your own cable. I used a shielded USB 2.0 10ft. Cable to fabricate my own longer connection and that worked fine. All materials were found on Amazon.Low light is not good and night use is impossible. Look for a different model for those needs.Otherwise the cam did work in both Pi OS and Windows without any configuration. 16:9 formats will crop out of the normal 4:3 formats leaving you with a noticeably blurry image. 1024x768 30fps seemed to give the best results. As with most raw lens cameras as the ambient light darkens, the exposure time increases causing fps to drop.

Great Camera for a 3D Printer !
I used this camera on my 3D printers (and a few others) for viewing prints remotely. It has great picture quality and mounts perfectly to a few different type of brackets I use on my Ender 3 Pro Printers. The wide angle view gives me a full shot of the printing bed. It doesn't work that great in low light however. You will need to use room lighting or LED lighting on your printer.
