Hey friends!When I moved into my apartment, I purchased the square rubber mat with holes to protect my more fragile dishes while they were in the sink. It worked well except it did not allow the water to drain properly. I always had to lift it after rinsing the dishes to clear water from the sink.I looked for something larger and raised and found this. I LOVE it.The size covers most of my sink and the design allows for the water to drain without issue. It also can act as a drying rack if I need it too. Most importantly the rack has rubber covering the feet so I won’t eventually get rust marks in my sink.Super simple concept but it works really well. Very happy with this order.

I'm using this in my old 60's ceramic sink. It's great to help keep your sink clean, as the food and waste can be washed out easily, even when there are objects on the grate. I don't know why I waited my entire life to get one.

During ten days of use the grate became rusted. The claim was that it was rust resistant.

It’s a great sink protector but I see rust on the edges and sides all the time. It’s also stands quite high.

I'm gutted because I mis-measured and the protector is 1/4" too large for my sink. It was what I'd been seeking for months - the drain opening in the center, rubber bumper on the edges to avoid rust with continued used, and very sturdy. I will use it as a cooling rack until I can find the right size, because it's exactly what I wanted, albeit larger than needed.
