Crest Toothpaste Gum Detoxify Deep Clean, 4.1 Oz (Pack of 3)

I’ve been a long time Parodontax user but came across this product and noticed it’s slightly cheaper for the amount of oz you get compared to purchasing a set of Parodontax. What I didn’t like about this toothpaste is that it leaves a residue on your teeth and tongue after brushing, but was told this is a good thing from my dentist. The toothpaste foams up immediately, coating the crevices of my gums and teeth, making it more effective and far more superior than other leading brands. The residue taste is something you get used to with additional use. I got used to it by day two.I brush my teeth after every meal and am pleasantly surprised by how clean my mouth feels at the end of every use. I don’t have COVID-breath while mask wearing anymore.I highly recommend this product for those with periodontitis.

We have been using this Crest formula for a number of years to maintain oral health. Like that it is distributed by a family run business because they are genuinely concerned about their customers. The 4.1 oz size toothpaste was out of stock on a recent order so they sent the larger 4.7 oz tube instead. That is a company that really cares about their customers. Will continue purchasing from them.

I was recommended this by my dentist because I had some receding gums and bacteria building up in there. It tastes great and it really lathers up with very little needed on the brush and feels like your getting a good cleaning all over in there. When I switched over, so did my wife since that's what I was buying. Oddly enough, we both started having issues with brown stains that we never had before. We had no idea why, and our dentist gave us the usual brush and floss better advice. We had recently switched to brewed coffee and thought maybe that had something to do with it. Then in doing my research, and from the comments in these reviews and Q&A, I realized that it's this toothpaste. Apparently when Crest first came out, they used the type of fluoride found in this toothpaste. Essentially this stuff is the original Crest toothpaste. It does a good job at killing bacteria in the gums and preventing plaque, something that is healthy and desirable from a toothpaste. But it had an undesirable side effect - brown stains. For whatever reason, this type of fluoride when interacting with food (and coffee) is prone to staining.So pick your poison. This is healthier for your gums and teeth, but ugly because of it's staining potential. Adversely, whitening toothpaste is abrasive in nature and might make your teeth look better but wears away the enamel to achieve that lightening.The wife and I have decided to split the middle. We're in our 50s now and our concern is health before cosmetics so we will use the detoxify at night before bed, and regular toothpaste in the morning.

I was having a lot of problems with my teeth and a lot of stress over possible loss of teeth, as my mother lost most her teeth and wears a denture. My dentist gave me a free tube of Crest gum detoxify and told me this is what she uses now. I really like this tooth paste. It is made of stannous flouride but it does not sting as stannous flouride sometimes does. My teeth felt so clean and my gum stopped bleeding. Wow! I have since gifted my sister and my brothers some of the Crest gum detoxify. Recommend this for anyone who would like to keep their teeth until the end of their lives!Updates: It’s been over 6 months since I started using Crest Gum Detoxify. My teeth are healthier than they have ever been, and to my surprise, my teeth are whiter and there are no stains. I was only concerned about the health of my teeth, so the fact that the teeth appear to be whiter is a very surprising bonus! This has become my favorite toothpaste for keeping gums healthy. The small tubes are convenient, not taking up room on my small bathroom counter.

I purchased this item based on Product Reviews. I've recently started having gum issues and bleeding easily. I was NOT expecting such a dramatic change after 1 use. I've had a dry mouth for years and nothing has helped the situation. Using this product only once: My dry mouth is gone, my teeth are much whiter, and my gums did not bleed. The paste also does not have an overpowering aftertaste. I now look forward to my newdental routine. THANK YOU very much.

Sometimes it is difficult to transfer this toothpaste to my brush, but I get it there and it is always great with a nice flavor.
