Works great especially with JBunn's Audio Tool app - just download the mic specific response curve and enter it into the Audio Tool and plug this in and you've got a fantastic RTA that is as good as the Ivie IE-30. Only this is about $6500 less money.

Really nice quality for the money. Very versatile as it's not tied to a specific program or app.

I dont know why but I had one of these that gave me a spectacular reading for my home stereo, then I lost it and now I bought another (this one) and it doesnt give me the same reading. Even using the included card its not as good. That said, this thing does work well and improves sound over stock EQ. But wow the original iMM-6c I had -- pure gold. Wish I could find it.

I wanted a better microphone for my Android phone for use with my Wiim ultra calibration software. This mic works great and I feel much more confident in the readings I get from it then the cheap microphone in my phone.

I’m using this to calibrate my audio system with a built-in software… They seem to work great, especially for the price. I do have to do a scan more than once every once in a while and I’m guessing that’s just what I have to do at this price point. This is compatible with the software, as well as my iPhone, the quality of the microphone itself seems to be very good, especially for the price, it’s easy to use, just plug and play basically and my iPhone will ask me if this is a microphone attached, the quality of the sound that comes out of my system once it’s been calibrated seems like it’s much better.

I used this with a WiiM Ultra to run a Room Correction software. Plugs into your iPhone. Works great. I have to believe the results were better with the Dayton iMMM-6 as opposed to the iPhone microphone.

I'm obsessed with color accuracy and audio quality. I prefer to consume content as it was mastered and hate how most consumer devices process video/sound, so what you get is nothing like the original master. I bought this to measure my Sonos surround sound system as I found after doing the built-in TruePlay tuning, things just didn't sound quite right compared to my reference headphones. Well, turns out Sonos adds a massive bass lift, which causes a dip in the mids. Using the EQ, I was able to adjust for that as best as I could, and my sound system sounds so much cleaner and clearer now. I also tuned my car which has a factory Bose stereo that I thought sounded fine, well turns out same thing, massive bass lift, hollow mids, using the EQ I was able to correct for it as best I could and it sounds better than ever. I love this thing! I'm using the "HouseCurve" app for iOS, which also supports uploading the calibration file you download from Dayton Audio’s site.

Ich kann das Mikrofon für alle Wiim Geräte, welche "RoomFit" unterstützen, absolut empfehlen. Der Punkt ist, dass die Raumeimessung ein kalibriertes Mikrofon erfordert, was hiermit gegeben ist. Zudem ist es viel genauer, als es ein Smartphon Mikrofon überhaupt sein kann. Das Ergebnis ist eine deutliche Verbesserung, sowohl in den Messwerten als ich im Klang. Eine lohnenswerte Investition!
