Easy to set up.

So it was not a bad first start, it gave me a temp container to put my kid in, but given the price I did hope it would last longer. The cage honestly fell apart after only 4 days of use {PHOTO ATTACHED}!! I opened and closed the cage close to 5 times a day, and earlier today the entire left side of the sealing unit broke off. At this point I’m honestly tempted to just buy a bigger tank anyway since my kid will grow into it.Also PLEASE NOTE: it has the improper floor mat for baby/juvenile beardies. Babies and young beardies CANNOT have a sand floor mat, and especially not one with rocks that are lose because they will accidentally eat the sand/rocks while hunting and that’s dangerous!Honestly if you get it pls get a carpet floor mat before getting your beardie! They are so cheap, and can be purchased through amazon or a pet store!

This is smaller than anticipated even after reading the measurements. I was hoping to get a slightly larger cage for my bearded dragon and this ended up being the same size as the other one. Kept it because I needed a new one anyways. The extras are helpful.

Loved everything but the decor was a little small. DO NOT USE the sand subtrate. Babies and juveniles can swallow the gravel. It comes off easily.

This is NOT 36x18x18. It is significantly smaller. Needed this to take my dragon on a trip, not sure if it will even work for that.

Came completely cracked and this item can not be returned. Box that said fragile couldn't be seen because it was in a second box.

Broken upon arrival

let me start by saying that there is one good thing about this starter kit: the price. for everything you’re getting, it’s a steal. HOWEVER, new beardie owners beware! first, this tank is not big enough for an adult. it’s good for a baby/juvenile and that’s it. as your beardie gets older it will need more space to roam, which means spending more money on a larger tank. second, the sand mat is a big no for young beardie’s. they can accidentally ingest the little rocks and sand particles that come off the mat. you’re better off using a reptile carpet or non adhesive shelf liner, both are cheap and relatively easy to clean. overall i would say only get this if you have a very young or baby beardie, but know that you will soon need to get a bigger tank as they grow (and please throw out the damn sand mat). always do your research before getting one of these lovely little creatures, even the pet stores/companies that say they specialize in reptiles get it wrong!
