Extremely Disappointed – Defective RS232 Port
Edited. -“changed from 1 star to 4. It took time but after testing every config possible, I was able to get it to work.” I purchased this product for our church to work with an iuzee camera, but it turned out to be a complete letdown. The RS232 port is defective—I’ve tried 26 different cables with the iuzee PTZ keyboard and nothing works. By the time we discovered the issue, the return window had already passed. Overall, a waste of money and a huge disappointment. I cannot recommend this product.

Good Controller, Easy Setup.
We use this product for our production company. iuZee PTZ Camera Controller 4D Joystick PoE IP PTZ Keyboard Controller with LCD Screen Use Case: PTZ camera control for live streaming, meetings, houses of worship, education, broadcast and surveillance. Key Functional Strengths Precise physical control. Variable-speed 4D joystick delivers smooth pan/tilt/zoom control better than software control or basic toggles. Twist action handles zoom without extra buttons. Supports PoE — one Ethernet cable powers and connects the controller, reducing cabling complexity. Wide compatibility. Works with major PTZ protocols: VISCA, VISCA over IP, PELCO-P, PELCO-D. Interfaces include RS232, RS422, RS485 and RJ45 for broad device support. Controls lots of cameras. Direct buttons for 7 cameras and the ability to scale up to 255 cameras. Dedicated LCD gives real-time feedback and menu navigation, reducing dependency on a separate monitor. Typical Use Scenarios Live event production (streaming, religious services, conferences). Business meeting room control. Multi-camera broadcast workflows. Systems needing centralized joystick control with visual feedback. Common Weaknesses Observed Setup can require technical knowledge. Users report that initial IP configuration and protocol matching is not plug-and-play for all camera brands. User manual clarity is limited. Documentation often leaves critical details vague, forcing experimentation or external guides. Interface customization is constrained. Options to tailor button functions or display behavior are minimal. Performance Notes Joystick precision is good for fine framing. Controllers of this class may exhibit slight lag in network environments depending on switch and camera response behavior (general IP PTZ trend, not specific to iuZee). PoE integration simplifies deployment but requires network design discipline (VLANs, IP planning) to avoid control latency or discovery issues. Value Assessment Delivers physical joystick control and protocol versatility for serious PTZ workflows. Strength lies in hardware command fidelity and expandability. Setup complexity and documentation quality detract from “out-of-box” ease. Warranty and support offerings from iuZee help mitigate risk on purchase. Summary Judgment Strong candidate for small to medium PTZ camera arrays where tactile control and multiple protocol support matter. Less ideal for casual users or setups where software control alone suffices. Technical competence required for full feature utilization.

works well
on IP, but you have to have it in serial or IP mode, it will not do both at the same time. so I have to switch back and forth since I have one camera that is IP and the other rs232 serial.

Great ptz controller for your surveillance system
This is a great PTZ controller for your networked cameras. The controller is extremely responsive and has a professional look to it. I love the small LCD screen that helps tremendously when you’re setting up the controller with your cameras. With this controller, you’re able to zoom, pan and tilt your camera with ease. The buttons are programmable to quickly change between cameras. I removed one star because this controller isn’t plug and play and will require some time to properly set up. If you’re not tech savvy, you may want to invite some techie friends to a bbq and talk them into helping you with configuring the controller with your network. Overall, this is a great professional level ptz controller and well worth the price, but you will need to have someone help you’re not use to configuring networking parameters. You’re able to control and monitor multiple cameras with this controller.

WIFI Only
We've been using another controller with our Blackmagic Mini, and I was looking for something that could control the 7 cameras without having to use the Mini. I like being able to move the cameras using the included screen without needing a separate preview window. The controls work great and the joystick is responsive and adjustable. The main problem is it ONLY works on WIFI enabled IP cameras, and I hate having to rely on WIFI. I would love to have physical inputs that would work over ethernet or coax. As it stands, it's fine but it makes me uneasy to rely on technology that so easily fails.

Excellent PTZ Joystick Controller!
I decided on the IuZee KB200 PTZ Joystick Contoller due to its many features and price! I started using the PTZ camera concept as regular web cameras didn't work for my use. There were many other similar PTZ joystick controllers that varied in price from $100 to over $900 depending on the features. I use the serial port, but like the fact it has multiple camera capabilities using either serial or Ethernet ports. Currently, I have only one PTZ camera for my genealogy meetings on Zoom, but may need to expand to more cameras in the future. This controller has many features needed for multiple camera operation. plus has the ability for multiple settings for each camera. Great engineering and quality too! After having tried it for several months, I am pleased with the purchase!
