This wire nut twister works great — much easier on my hands than manual twisting. I’m using winged wire nuts which engage very well with the tool. I think smaller non-winged nuts might worse less well, simply because a pretty long tail is necessary for the wires to span the extra distance that a smaller nut has to go up inside the tapered tool before engaging. From a wiring safety standpoint it’s sensible to do a first twist under direct visualization with pliers to confirm that the wire ends are even and in optimal contact, but then finishing with this tool on a variable impact or clutched driver (to avoid excessive tightening which could crack the wire nut) makes things go so much faster and easier than twisting everything by hand.The tool seems well made, and durable so far. I like it.
