Normally I don’t venture outside of my normal candle brands because they always suck BUT I’m so glad I did! This candle smells so good it feels like you’re back on the ranch in Texas! I’ll definitely try some other scents and I’ll definitely buy this one again!

We love candles in our home and we have been using them for years to always make sure that our home always smells so nice. We especially like the Fall fragrances.Now, there was a time that you could get really nice long burning candles with extremely good fragrances for around $5-10. Not any more! How times have changed - Sadly.So taking the time to pick the right candles for us, is now even more important than ever. Because now, it comes down to the amount that they cost vs the hours they burn vs the quality of the fragrance - good old bang for your buck. In other words, if you are gonna burn your money up, it better be worth it!We saw these and have never tried this company before. The reviews looked great, so we thought that we would give them a try.I have to say the fragrance of New York - Juicy Apple, Cinnamon & Pumpkin, is SO absolutely, deliciously, divine, that you almost want to eat it straight out from the jar! The fragrance is about the best that I have ever smelt.I do wish that they would have made these jars larger (80-90 hrs), then for us, these would have been a clear winner! More importantly, this company would have had a fan for life!As great as these are, and they are great, they are really a little on the pricey side for most buyers for just 40-50 hours of burn time.BUT ..if price is not an issue for you, then these these candles have to rank at the top, with the very best of them.We highly recommend these candles - if you can afford them!

Our son loves NY after having taken a trip there with daddy, so we thought this would be a fun gift to remind him of the trip. (I mean, I did kinda think maybe it would smell more like New York city and have more of a, well, less pleasant smell, but the alternative lovely smell that this ACTUALLY is - more of an upstate NY sorta vibe going on - is probably better anyway, even if less realistic than his actual city experience. ;) )The packaging is GREAT!! Really nice looking, definitely a giftable look to it - even the box it came in looks cute. Candle smells good. The apple scent is probably the strongest that comes through for me. I like that it doesn't have a lot of the nasty stuff that's in a lot of candles (and why I don't normally buy candles). The candle is, in my opinion, on the pricier side, even for the cleaner ingredients (and something that has a base such as beeswax, which is what I tend to prefer to cleaner burns, would be even more costly) - but still, it's a great start for a cleaner burning candle that smells good and is a fun reminder of our son's trip.

I liked the way this candle came packaged, and it is certainly suitable for gifting. The scent was really the reason I bought it, I have always appreciated a good spruce pine scented candle because it reminds me of that old Christmas tree smell, and being a kid.I have had a little trouble finding a convincing spruce pine scented candle, although I have tried many that smell good, but not "that" smell.This candle totally captures the spruce pine or "Christmas tree" smell. The pine needles starting to fall off the tree onto the floor, kind of smell. I would like to have more of these scented candles, especially around the holidays.This candle has a white wax, and when it burns it really smells great. It lit easily, and is made with quality and attention to detail. I keep the wick trimmed as directed and it burns clean. It says the wax is made out of soy, which makes it environmentally friendlier.I was not able to get the QR code on the box to work, but I was able to find the video/website (I think) with tips on how to use the candle. I learned to try and burn it for no less than 3 and no more than 4 hours, so it lasts longer and burns evenly.I would be proud to give this quality, scented craft candle from Colorado as a gift, and it lives up to the "Spruce pine" Christmas tree smell. This candle will put you in the mind of Christmas past, decorating the tree...I like it a lot!Please be safe around any source of ignition, such as a candle flame. Especially if there are children around.

This candle for North Carolina gifts is in a classic glass jar with screw-top lid. I like that it isn’t a cutesy, craft looking candle but classic and actually would be a nice gift to add to a man cave!We’ve tried to replace all of our candles with soy that use a cotton wick because they’re safer. The scent in this candle is made from essential oils so doesn’t smell artificial or like flowers. The North Carolina candle can be burned any time of year. It has a 40 to 50 hour burn time. It also scents the room quite well.Quite often we forget a candle is burning and then the wick burns up and the wax is left. So we started using electric candle warmer plates that are large enough for a jar candle to sit on top. When it’s turned on, it uses slow heat to release the scent just as well as if it was burning with a flame. We get the maximum scent out of our candles that way and it can stay on safely for hours. I think it extends the candle’s burn time, too.Besides being a quality product, the label can be chosen to personalize it for a gift.
