Amazon- of Course! I needed some of these a while ago to arrange my slides from the 1980s, but all the camera shops had stopped selling them. After finding a supplier in Germany , they suggested a few large outlets here in England, the nearest one 100 miles away. They also suggested Amazon. After ordering, I had them the same week, and finished the job I'd started twenty years earlier.Advantage of CS slide magazine is each magazine holds 100 slides as opposed to thirty five, and there's two magazines in the box, they don't fall out of the magazine if knocked over. The disadvantage is that the slides must be transferred into the special CS mounts, and they often jam in the projector.

The combination reflecta CS glassless slide frames and the reflecta CS magazines provides a safe very compact way of storing your slides. I am digitizing my old family slides and to get the best result from the scanning, I am removing the slides from the old frames with glass cover and replacing them with CS frames. The CS Magazines gives a huge reduction in the space required to store several thousands of slides. A few of my slides are fitted in professional mounted cardboard frames. These are a little difficult to fit into the magazine. Also the CS frames could be better in centering the slide in the frame.

This magazine is fine for very recent slides but will not hold earlier types of slides so consider age of slides before buying this product.

The Agfa CS slide mount format and slotted magazine was brilliant, and it is a great pity it was not a) invented a lot earlier!, and b) accepted as standard by the rest of that part of the photographic industry. The only downside is that one does need a couple of standard/universal magazines for sorting slides into the best presentation order, as CS slides are very fiddly to re-arrange.Reflecta do still supply CS mounts, and it is pretty simple to extract slides from most other mounts and put them into CS ones. Yes, it takes time, but the resulting space-saving is great. And it means there's no more risk of picking the whole lot up off the floor again following an accident.
