Not a lot to go wrong. Works ok, reasonable trigger range.

Do the job
We were having intermittent false alarms on our system so I decided to replace all the sensors to eliminate any issuesThese sensors were a direct replacement for the originals in terms of the electrical connections but were about 5mm longer so needed to drill another hole to mount in the same place (but this is obviously covered by the sensor itself so no issue(It's hard to get excited about such parts - they were reasonably priced, seemed made well enough and did the jobThey worked as one of the original sensors had corroded and no false alarms any more

Work well, not quite recessed though.
These are quite competent reed switches that have a good working range. They work well surface mounted, but the contacts on the side make them less suitable for recessing in wood, etc., unless you backfill the hole to cover over the contacts.
