I saw that others have said the same thing, but took a chance with all the stars they've been given, but didn't get lucky at all. We're trying to get a replacement, but it will take 2 weeks to get here, which is even more sad.

These work as well as similar gel blasters in the price range. And they have some extra features not all other have. They're identical internally, and close to identical externally with slightly different designs and different colors, but the same size. Basically something that's a pistol in an adult hand.My video shows the firing rate isn't overly fast, but that's fine for this small-medium power blaster which is good for younger ones because it's not going to leave bruises when you're hit. Ordinary clothes combined with the included protective glasses are enough, even fairly close up.They both perform well and come with amply powerful batteries - bursting gellets properly when they hit, and not bouncing them around (as weaker blasters might do). They shoot very straight and they don't break gellets in the chamber - every gellet shoots, so the stream coming out is something easily aimed on target, and the range, probably 35 feet, or more if you arc the shots, is just right for backyard battles.Each player gets a different color gel ball to work with and plenty are included. Lots of extras are included, including silly knockover targets for plinking, and a handy funnel and net for loading. As I recall the hoppers do not come with caps, which is a peeve of mine, since it's 2 cents more to include one, but, alas...I played with these for a while and really enjoyed them, and I'm a guy with a LOT of blasters of all types, including dozens and dozens of gel ball blasters - so that's pretty good. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE, especially as a pair.

The media could not be loaded. This gel blaster toy was a blast! It was easy to use and enjoyable for both kids and adults. While I wish there were more detailed instructions included in the box, I was able to easily figure it out with a bit of research.

They work but are so small they are kinda hard to like. They aren't the fastest shooting guns and they are super basic but they get the job done. If your just getting your kids into it these will work just fine to see if they will like it or not. Good for very young starter set situations other then that they will get very board with this gun quickly having no real power behind the gel balls.

The power is awesome! Make sure the little beads have fully absorbed water completely, otherwise it doesn't work! But this had left some marks! My 11 yr old, 14 yr old, and us adults have really enjoyed these! Almost like paintball, without the paint!
