Works well as an extension to a hard-to-reach jack

Got this to use with my Pixel 2 XL and it was a great choice. Quality materials means this cable will last. It has the 56kΩ resistor that prevents the phone being damaged with powered into a USB-2 (old). Since this old port does provide much juice the phone pulls hard to get more and spirals into a melt down. This cable protects against that. Also it plenty fast for file transfers when you are using USB 3 or 2. I bought this because my cables with the Google adapter inserted would not transfer files at all. The windows 10 OS just could fully link up with the phone. This cable cured that for me. It was a good price point too. Makes up for the piece of crap screen protector got stuck with from Amazon.

These USB extension cables are working fine to product the USB slots on my embroidery machine. Serves the intended purpose well.

I bought these to use with my Lego display lights. The light kits have short power wires and these work perfect for a small jumper to get them to the power strip. I needed this to use with my embroidery machine. I transfer designs from a thumb drive to my machine and I leave this attached to the machine and insert the thumb drive into the end of this connector to cut down on the 'in and out' of the thumb drive to my machine. The price was very good and I'm very pleased with it. Highly recommended

These short USB cables are great for accessing a USB port that doesn't have enough space for the intended connector to fit - perhaps the port is very close to a wall or panel, or devices in adjacent ports haven't left enough space for whatever needs to get through. With these short cables, the intended device can connect through one of them to the target port, without having to use a significantly longer cable than necessary or removing a neighboring device. They can also be used to extend an almost long-enough cable so it can make the connection. I haven't checked yet, but I hope that there's a USB-C version of these.
