We picked up the classic Montessori Light‑Up Switch Board for long car rides, and it’s been an absolute game‑changer. My three‑year‑old is obsessed. Flipping the switches and watching the lights keeps him entertained for hours, whether we’re on the road or hanging out at home.After plenty of toddler‑level “testing,” the board is still going strong. The colors are just as bright as day one, all the switches still click perfectly. The whole thing has handled every drop, toss, and enthusiastic button‑mash. It’s lightweight and easy for him to carry around on his own, so it comes everywhere with us.One small heads‑up: if you have a little screwdriver fanatic, keep an eye on the battery compartment. My son eventually figured out how to twist the cover off with his fingers. Not a deal‑breaker (I just tightened it again), but worth knowing.Overall, this switch board has delivered hours of focused, screen‑free play and has made our road trips so much easier. My baby loves this! The entire thing is child size where the buttons/switches are great for tiny fingers. It lights up well with no glitches. My daughter is 13mos and is challenged by the different typed of buttons. She is still figuring it out many of the buttons which is great because it keeps her busy! It is not too heavy for her to carry around or put on her lap. She has thrown it around a few times it still works fine. This thing is built to last. I love that the key turns off the whole thing to save battery. I completely recommend this!

My 2 year old boy is in the "button pushing" phase. If it looks like a button, he's going push it, going to turn it on, he can't help himself! It's been thrown around and still works which is great for my toy breaker that it's durable!I got him this board and I love that on this one there is an on/off switch.We had another one for my daughter a few years back and the lights always stayed on. With this one, when they go to bed I can turn it off and conserve the battery life. My 2 year old and 4 year old both love their boards so it's amusing for different age ranges.Doesn't beep or make noise. A nice quiet toy that they can with that doesn't drive mama crazy!

I bought 3 of these for my grandkids in 3 different families after reading the reviews. I am SO impressed by the quality craftsmanship and sturdiness of the product!! It’s just the right size and weight for little ones yet keeps older kids engaged as well (and even adults :). The size/weight makes it perfect for throwing in a travel bag, diaper bag or larger purse. The various switches, colorful lights, buttons, plug, and keys are fun to play with and of high quality. I can’t say enough good about it! I love that it’s made of solid wood and not plastic! Thank you for creating an excellent, creative and instructional toy! It’ll be my new go-to gift for birthdays!

Toddler is in love. We have another on that has tools and he just wanted to play with the lights. This is excatly what he wanted. More lights and options. Keeps him entertained for hours, super helpful when we travel. Its small enough to fit in his lap but not over take it or clog up the car seat. The colors are bright and fun. So far with a 2, 3, and 5 year old it is holding up really well and functions perfectly even when they abuse it. Easy to use and navigate the board. Our 2 year old uses it the most but his sister whose 5 loves it as well.

Very good toy for a toddler who loves to push buttons and is attracted to any type of little light.

My granddaughter, 2.5 yo, loved it. Kept her occupied on a family car trip. The size is just right for small hands. Lots of to turn on and off. I especially liked that it was made of wood and not plastic.

My son loves this busy board and he brings it with himeverywhere. Great value for money. He plays with it for hours. Durability is awesome. Once my son figured it out it was easy for him to use.
