A quick heads up for shoppers: Just like Knorr reformulates their products to different countries' tastes they also reformulate their professional range. This stock cube will not taste exactly like the veg cubes you buy in the shops, at least not at time of writing, so be aware if this is important to you. They are of the expected Knorr quality, so no worries there (though it wouldn't kill them to find a PALM OIL replacement). However the flavour is more oniony and the hint of garlic is strong enough to be picked out. Whether this is better or worse is a mere matter of taste, but sometimes it does matter so this review is to highlight the fact for the fussy super tasters out there (you don't need to be that "super" just fussy). If you've bought these big tubs in the past but not for a few years I'm pleased to report that the tub itself is of better quality being less brittle. It's a clear version of the tubs used for Knorr powders with all the same food safe/ freezer safe markings and will give years of service when emptied and reused.

I’ve always loved knorr stock cubes however the price in the supermarket had become ridiculous. I checked out Amazon and was amazed at the price. I now buy them on subscribe and save and get them even cheaper. I make a lot of homemade soups and love these stock cubes for the depth of flavour they give.
