Not thick as expected

This rack was used in the construction of a suet feeder for birds. It's been hanging outside for years now and is still as shiny as new. I don't have any idea how good it will do cooling cakes.

As pictured. I only want it for it's purpose which is to cool my creations. I'm sure it's all it's cracked up to be.

5 stars for 5" rack: I have been using this to elevate my bagged food for small sous vide cooks, so the water can circulate underneath. The small size fits in my 4 qt saucepan, and leaves room for the cooker on one side. Very handy! : )2 stars for 7" rack: So disappointed when I unpacked this: it is a lighter gauge wire than the 5" and it does not sit level. Should have been the same quality, or better, as it is larger and same 'brand'. Can't speak to rusting yet as haven't used it. : (

Nice little rack for the pressure cooker. I like that the rows are closely spaced to prevent food from falling through. Quality heavyweight construction.
