Nothing has changed...
Capcom have put out what seems like a hundred of Street Fighter-games on the market in the last ten years. Street Fighter 2 (especially the Turbo version) is still the best 2D fighting game in the world, ever. But when they went in to the third dimension, nothing worked out any more. Of course, the grafic is excellent, but the controls doesn't have the real StreetFighter feeling. This version is more goodlooking than ever, but after a few hours of playing you'll be tired of it. If you want a good fighting game to your PS2, get DOA2 or Tekken Tag. If you want a good StreetFighter game, get a SNES or a Mega Drive. Or the PSX-compilation. But not this one.

No hitting each other in the streets thank you!
This is a pretty cool game, the graphics are quite cool, it may be a bit slow but it's worth playing. Did I mention the voices are in Japanese...

"only slow if ya play it slow"
In my opinion the follow up to EX2 is an incredible turning point for capcom's streetfighter, showing that the streetfighter serious can live on in 3d. People that comment that the game is slow are probably the one's who play it slow, so what if it's a LITTLE slow, what more do ya want with graphics like this. The only down point of the game is the lack of playable characters and i was hoping for actual ending FMV videos this time round. the good points are the multable players fighting on screen at the same time, the ace mode and the meteor tag combo's WICKED!

Can't wait for the next EX installment...
Street Fighter EX 3 is an excellent play - especially with 3 or more people at once with the dramatic battles (3/4 players fighting at same time with multitap/extra computer opponents) make for a lot of fun, with special tag entrances and moves for certain tag pairs (eg: Ryu + Ken). However Single Player mode is far too easy to complete (the medal challenges are hard, but do we really wanna chase medals, or beat down Bison?). Ken (and Evil Ryu) get the old skool Tatsumaki-Senpuu-Kyaku (Hurricane Kick) back - missing from SFEX+A - which is a nice touch, and the Meteor and Tag Combos are devastating to your opponent (nothing makes me laugh more than smashing a 30 hit combo on Blanka with the Critical Parade - where you double team your opponent for about 5 seconds with infinite combo energy!). Graphics are sweet, both scenery and characters are pleasing to the eye (although the hadokens do look like flying glowing mushrooms). The create mode - where u purchase moves for "Ace", the special created fighter allows you to put (almost) all of your favourite moves together. This would be a great game if the Single Player mode was more than 6 stages long, if the Single Player wasn't the easiest thing going (even Shin (super) Bison is amazingly easy on Hard difficulty), you had ALL the Street Fighter characters from past and present (even though SFEX+A had like 6 shotokan karate guys - at least there was a choice). The biggest surprise to me was that they have left Akuma out of this version. Why?! He's in Capcom vs. SNK 2 (and so's Shin Akuma) and he's always been the best challenge in Single Player. How can you have the good ol' fashioned Good vs. Evil fight when you dont have Akuma??I can't wait for the EX 4 (if and when it comes out), I would love to see a massive choice of all the fighters from every SF game, a more challenging Single Player (get rid of the stupid medal system to unlock stuff too!) and I'd like to see the colour edit system that is in Cvs.SNK 1&2 brought over to EX - if you can change the colours on 3D Half Life models etc... why not on this?If you're looking for more of a challenge go buy Capcom v. SNK 2, if you're looking for something to play when your mates are round, buy EX 3.
