Compact, easy to use.
Shure GLXD14/85 Digital Presenter Wireless System with WL185 Lavalier Microphone performed very well with existing PA system. Small learning curve to figure out the essentials of using, but once that was managed it was easy to use. Looking forward to using this going forward and not using the hand-held mic. Audience had no problems with clarity of speech. Compact enough to add to the travel gear.

Amazing system!
I started public speaking last year and this is my first wireless mic system. Easy to set up, incredibly good quality. Fantastic investment for anyone who is a speaker/singer/etc. Couldn't be happier!

Expensive does not mean great quality sound
With over 30 years of live sound recording and live church services, Shure wired mics have always been great. My old Sennheiser wireless system finally retired, so I require a higher-end wireless system, I chose this Shure wireless system hoping to gain better sound quality and better distance range than the old retired wireless system. But standing next to the Shure wireless system receiver, already it sounds horrible, shacky, scratchy, and picking up everything on the stage and audience. Physically well built but that doesn't mean anything if the sound quality is so defective, had to switch back to a wired mic on a large church event, very disappointed. The high price and the looks don't mean it's good. Horrible in refunding my money back, they already received the returned item. Worst experience ever with Amazon, not recommended for any Professional musicians or Sound Engineer.

Excellent system!
This is an excellent wireless mic system. I have it installed in our church. I had misgivings at first, since the receiver had to be placed in a closet, which is about 60 feet from our altar space, separated by two brick walls. It worked no problem! The lavalier mic is extremely sensitive. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

Great system, but beware of interference...
When it is working- this system has beautiful sound quality, and is ridiculously easy to set up. I also love the rechargeable battery system with very-long life and on-board charger, as well as USB charging options.However- it operates in the same frequency band as WiFi, microwaves, baby monitors, and some cordless phones. While it puts forth a great amount of effort to insure a clear channel, and quickly hops to alternate channels if it discovers interference, we found it very prone to dropouts, clipping, and digital distortion in RF "noisy" environments. (We bought one to replace an older analog wireless microphone for trade show presentations.) You are realistically limited to only using a few of these in close-proximity (if you have multiple performers), and they will work best in areas with minimal RF interference in the 2.4Ghz band. I can see this being a great choice in an isolated venue- like a small performance hall or church, with only one or two performers/speakers, but they don't work well (in my experience) in areas like conventions and conference centers because of multiple channel in-house WiFi systems and interference from other microphones and electronics. Given the interference problem- I would also not recommend using them for traveling performances.I'd give it five stars if not for the interference problem. I wish they had a similar system that operated in a different band (that didn't cost twice as much). Look to the SLX or ULX series if you need a traveling setup or more mics. They are analog, but offer a lot more versatility, otherwise- there are digital UHF systems that will empty your wallet fast.
