great value, plug and play

A good option for extra computer storage.
This device has a ton of computer storage space for photos, music, videos, etc. I bought it because I have another, smaller, drive that is at the end of its life. This drive is plug and play, out of the box plug into my computer, start using. That simple. A bright light tells you that it is on and working. White is a nice change from the usual black color of these drives. This drive came with a very good price. I have no complaints so far. The device works very well.

Takes forever to transfer video files, but it also serves its purpose well!

Worked ONCE
I ordered this drive less that two weeks ago. I used it once to backup another drive that was beginning to fill up. Once the backup was complete I thought about wiping the old drive and making new use for it. I thought better of it and decided to wait till I truly needed the space. I am glad that I did because today I went to add more data to the Avolusion and it was dead. No lights, no system recognition. The spindle seemed to wind up - when powered on, but that was it. Returning this for refund and purchasing a more trusted name brand. Buyer beware.

Good product for the price compared to Seagate
The thing i did not like is it came formatted as fatal rather than eat. Speed is slightly slower but it still is a good product.

No UK Power Adapter
This drive does exactly what it says on the box, very well and no problems. The instructions over-emphasise use with an X-Box, but it does perfectly well with a PC and a Laptop, both Windows and Linux.BIG DRAWBACK: The mains power adapter does not (and cannot) fit a UK socket; it appears to be designed for the US.I can manage with an adapter I have in reserve, but this is annoying.
