Work of Art. True 5 Star.
There are plenty of inversion tables on Amazon with high ratings. The reality is any inversion table will make your back feel 10x better. So with all the high ratings, why should you spend the extra money on a Teeter? This is a difficult question to answer unless you have previously purchased a lower to mid-range table. I purchased two different tables in the last ten years before I invested into a Teeter. I bought and sold my previous tables during different moves to avoid shipping/moving costs. Inversion tables hold their value very well so they are easy to sell.Recently I moved once again (yes, I move a lot) and luckily this time around I owned a pair of gravity boots. The problem was not moving my boots, it was my lease that forbid me from drilling into any door frames. Once again it was time to grab a new table on Amazon.I always wanted a Teeter and my back needed it. So I finally took the plunge and spent the money.I was amazed as soon as I opened the box and saw the frame. It was beautiful. Thick solid construction and a beautiful dark charcoal finish. The leg extension was fitted with two contoured ankle locks. Most of the cheaper inversion tables just have a bar to trap your feet. The set-up was easy. Only six screws and the main parts were easy to seat.So what makes a Teeter a true 5 star?-Very solid construction. The frame is a good 3x the weight of my previous tables. This keeps the table from making any squeeking noises and the base from wobbling as you flip backwards.- The main table in contrast to the base is light but strong and comfortable. The strong blue backing is a huge step up from the cheap stuffed vinyl boards that are standard on most other tables. The cheaper models usually have the table back screwed into a metal frame that gets wobbly and creeky pretty fast.- The ankle supports are fitted perfectly and mold to your ankles. Much more comfortable than a singe bar lock.- The leg extension is also solid and heavy with an easy scale to determine what length you should set it to. It is does not wiggle at all.- The balance may be the best feature. It is extremely accurate and controlled. The cheaper brands can flip faster and make it harder to pull yourself back up. If you adjust the leg bar one notch you can feel the difference but only slightly. With the cheaper brands one notch could give you an unwanted quick flip.- Like floating on air. The solid base and the light table are the perfect combo for smooth controlled movement.- Beautiful look and not a vinyl eye sore. This table is more than worth it. Invest in a Teeter and you will not be disappointed. The mechanics of a Teeter actually make you want to use it. My other tables were more of a chore.I never write reviews this long but I felt this product deserved it. If you are on the fence, I hope this review helps you take the plunge and buy the best. You won't regret it.

A game changer for management of back pain related to the spine.
I bought the Teeter Inversion Table at the suggestion of a chiropractor to help with routine, at-home, decompression of a few vertebrae in my lower spine. I started slowly, setting the inversion strap to about 15 degrees beyond horizontal. After a week of a few 3-minute sessions per day, as my body adjusted to being inverted (and I felt more coordinated using it, balancing, etc.), I gradually increased the angle of inversion over a period of a few weeks to where I was comfortable being fully inverted. Although I felt some relief following the first few uses of the Teeter, it was when I was able to invert approximately 50 - 60 degrees past horizontal that I truly started feeling major relief. It's been about 4 months since beginning, and I continue to invert several times a day -- religiously! It only takes about 3 minutes per session, and the pain I was experiencing continues to be in check. The Teeter has now become a part of my life!My only regret is that I didn't buy the EP-960 Limited model initially. The extra $150 for that model seemed like a lot of money at the time I purchased a table, and I wasn't sure how effective a Teeter Inversion Table would work for my situation. Fortunately, it's become a true pain management tool for my back, so I've gradually upgraded the EP-560 by adding the EZ-Stretch Traction handles, and replacing the "t" bar ankle release with the Deluxe EZ-Reach Ankle system. These upgrades make my sessions more convenient and quicker: 1) quicker and more comfortable getting in-and-out of the table with the Deluxe EZ-Reach ankle system, and 2) the EZ-Stretch Traction handles allow me to more quickly achieve the decompression (pop, pop, pop) of the compressed vertebrae. So, while I am very pleased (grateful, actually!) with the quality and effectiveness of the system I have, had I bought the EP-960 model initially, it would have included both these features that I've added (plus a few more) and cost me about $100 less at the end of the day compared to the costs of upgrading separately.Regardless, the Teeter Inversion Table has become a game changer for managing my back pain. Teeter Hangups are very thoughtfully designed (including the ability to purchase upgrade features to base models if and when you choose), Teeter sets the standard for solid build and safety for residential inversion tables, and are mostly a once in a lifetime investment. I can highly recommend the effectiveness of a Teeter Inversion Table, regardless of the model you choose!
