I was actually happily surprised how well this lug wrench looks and feels, and see it is built with integrity. It comes in a heavy duty storage box. I recommend over this one over other brands, I did research and this is the best and has the best product!

Ordered this for my RV as a jic item. Ended up using it just days later while trying to loosen some sway bar bolts to install a steering dampener. This came in Aces handy! Did the job perfectly. Already paid for itself.

This one is a perfect replacement, folds compactly and when open, locks for use as an old-fashioned "X" pattern lug wrench for several nut sizes.

I had to replace a wheel lug nut. A shop I took my car into alerted me that one of my lug nuts on the wheel was replaced by a wrong sized non-OEM hardware (not sure who was the culprit / suspect). I initially used a car mfr. supplied lug wrench which was awkwardly angled at 45 degrees, to no avail. As a 2nd option, I came upon the idea to use a socket and ratcheting wrench; that resulted in the use of extreme exertion to attempt to loosen the lug nut from it's tightened torque by the impact wrench (by the shop that installed the wrong sized nut). I then resorted to purchase this wrench from Amazon . . . which had the extension feature to provide leverage at 25 inches. Upon the first attempt, the lug nut came loose without much of a struggle . . . and the remainder of the chore to remove, replace the hardware was surprisingly easy.

The tool allows the pressure to be evenly applied to the lugnut, whereas the average tool supplied with vehicles does not, much reducing the possibility of slippage! I tested the torque on a lugnut that had been secured at a franchise with an air driven tool. While some pressure had to be applied, the length of the lever was adequate to loosen the nut. There are 4 sizes included and a tidy little hard case. Not the cheapest, but value for money, and I would think adequate for wheel removal in the event of a flat tyre.

We have a fully stocked and staffed garage. I'm certainly no stranger to tools or vehicle maintenance. I bought this because I loaned out my 4-way, backup 4-way, and my vehicle breaker bar, all over the past month and I wanted a backup in the truck.It was time to rotate the tires so I thought this was as good a time as any to test this tool. Upon trying to loosen a PROPERLY TORQUED lug nut, the tool snapped.Yes, snapped, like an icicle.I've used cheap pot metal tools, things bought for a single job from certain freight stores, and bargain bin no name, big box store items.I've never had any tool snap like this. Never.For an average DIY user who likely wouldn't have been standing properly, know how to apply equal pressure, or could have even been in a roadside emergency, this is dangerous. This isn't a matter of "oops, we'll send you a replacement." Absolutely not. The tool is dangerous.This is clearly a manufacturing defect and I want nothing to do with this brand or it's products.I've never seen or heard of such a thing before.If you're thinking of buying this to throw in the car and forget about until you need it, don't.Spend a few more dollars for a proper tool, forget about the case or quick shipping because it's not worth it, at all, for something like this that most certainly is not worth trusting in a roadside emergency or even as a backup.
