Both of my boys love these! For building, imagination and creativity, they are definitely into these blocks!

You get a nice paper that shows each of the pictures, but there's no way a 2 year old can figure out how this puzzle works, even with that "cheat sheet". This is better for kids a couple years older who have the visual pattern recognition developed well enough to actually play with this puzzle toy. The painting is well done without any large imperfections. The tray is large enough that the pieces fit loosely. It includes a bag that doesn't fit the puzzle or all the pieces - we used the plastic bag instead to keep all the pieces together.My 2 year old nephew couldn't grasp the idea of a puzzle and kept just randomly putting pieces. His older sister who is almost 5 easily grasped the concept and was able to look at the pictures and find the correct pieces. We had fun for about 10 minutes until my nephew lost interest and wanted to just play with the block. I had to help my niece figure out how to use it, but after a couple times showing her she was able to figure it out on her own. My nephew never got it though and just liked the dinosaurs after I completed the puzzle for him.

Smaller than expected but son still loves it

My 3 year old enjoys working on puzzles, and he loves that he this block set is 6 puzzles in 1. The illustrations are brightly colored and the wood is sturdy. My favorite part is that he is able to complete the puzzles on his own.

It's a cute puzzle for a 4 or 5 year old. The pictures are on stickers, not painted on the blocks, but I'd expect that at this price. Anyway, they will probably wear or be torn off after a while. A cloth book and a relatively complicated puzzle are incongruous. A 4 year old will be insulted by a cloth book.Every toy from China seems to be "Montessori". This one is pretty much just a regular toy, I'm pretty sure.

My wife says: I used to love this kind of puzzle when I was a child so I was excited to see this dinosaur set to get for our grandchildren. The tray is nicely sanded and the puzzle blocks are smoothly finished -no worries about splinters. I was a little disappointed, however, that the edges of the blocks already showed signs of abrasion, although it is nothing that a child would notice. Take note of the dimensions in the listing. They are accurate but from the pictures I was expecting something a little larger. It came with a pouch, which was a nice touch, but it would have been nicer if both the blocks and the frame fit in it. Everything, including the book, does fit nicely into a quart ziplock bag. On the whole, I am happy with these puzzles and think my grandchildren will enjoy them.
