I make my own coleslaw and thanks to the reviews I decided to buy a VeggiChop. I have not regretted it. I like that you can chop as large or as small as you like. It chops carrots, cabbage, peppers, lettuce, onions (no more tears) cucumber, beetroot and even tomatoes - these are the vegetables I have chopped so far. I am really looking forward to trying out other vegetables. The unit is not large and can easily sit on my worktop out of the way. Its very easy to use and wash. It works for me because I have a weak wrist and wanted something that wasn`t complicated to use. This is perfect. One of the best items I have bought - Thanks to the reviewers who have used this unit. I would definitely recommend it. The unit is a bit expensive for the size but I think its well worth the money and you get what you pay for.

This is revolutionary for cutting onions and garlic. It does it better than I would by hand in a fraction of the time. the only issue I have with it is that the cord eventually wears down. I've not marked this down as - when I went back to the manufacturer about this, they sent me out a new one. So customer service is also 5 star. Everyone should have one of these.

Handy chopper for doing onions and other veggies. Gives you fine control over the end result chunkiness unlike electric processors, which would ruin a salsa or guacamole. Fun to use too - just watch out for the sharp blades! The only 'problem' is the lid unit cannot be immersed in water to be washed. Ridiculous! The string goes all soggy and eventually breaks, and you get all kinds of food bits trapped inside. (I bought another so I have two choppers, but only one working lid pulley). But - there is a solution. If you insert a teaspoon handle into the slot on the underside, you can easily separate the two halves for easy cleaning of the part of the lid that touches the food, while leaving the top part with the handle, spring and string out of the sink. It just needs the odd wipe. Why they don't make this part of the recommended usage instructions is beyond me.

I read all the reviews before buying this but it was sold out everwhere in the UK! Finally tracked the last one down on a website, and now have used it for 3 months, consistently, makes making a meal a breaze... chops everything, so far I've tried onions, the best for this, garlic and ginger are minced very finely, tomatoes dont work as well, will go mushy but can still be chopped and will turn into a salsa type mixture...I love it, takes out all the annoyance of chopping different veg, which can get tedious. I loved it so much....told my mum about it, she liked the thought of it, so bought another one, here on Amazon as her mothers day present! Highly recommend if you chop a lot of veg.

This product worked beautifully from October 2020 until last week. Firstly the outer coating of the string wrinkled up, making it it difficult to pull the string. Then the string suddenly broke away from the pulling mechanism making the product redundant. It should be noted that this product has only ever been used with a handful of strawberries and I am a 76 year old woman and not Mike Tyson. The photo which I can't transfer would show the broken string which came off at source, therefore there is no hope of fixing the product.

I bought this as part of an 80th birthday present for my technophobic Dad on the recommendation of my Mum, and it has to be one of the cheapest andd best-value presents I've ever bought him! He sings its praises to anyone who will listen, which means it must be really easy to use, hence the 5* rating. It is quite small - much smaller than an electric food processor - so it would only suit small-scale cooking, but if you know that then it's probably a positive point, and it would be quicker to wash too.

This is a great product. I bought a replacement for one that had broken after five years of regular use. My only issue is the delivery. It was left on my doorstep whilst I was at home. Didn't knock the door or ring the bell, just left it there for anyone passing to steal it and recorded it on their device as handed to resident. Not happy with the Amazon!

Fungerar mindre än ettt år sedan är den trasig. Går sönder inuti mekanismen. 3 st har jag köpt nu. Sista höll ca 2 veckor innan den började att krångla. Mekanismen är för klen och bandet går i sönder efter ett tag. Aldrig ens diskad i maskin. Superbra maskin så länge den fungerar.

I use this mostly to grate cauliflower for cauliflower rice. Just drop in a couple of chunks and pull the handle about 15 times and I have cauliflower rice ready for the microwave. This item is easier and makes much less of a mess than hand grating or using the bulky heavy electric food processor. This item also does a fantastic job of chopping onions, nuts, and making salsa. Pull the handle. Clean up is easy. I use it a couple of times a week and it seems to be standing up well. It is minimalist, lightweight, takes no energy. So glad I don't have to drag out my heavy food processor for cauliflower rice anymore. So simple, wish I knew about this product earlier. Update: Aug 8, 2015 Still works. Still love it. I use it mostly for making cauliflower rice. I don't miss the big heavy electric food processor at all.

Er spart Zeit und Aufwand beim Kochen und erleichtert mir die Zubereitung meiner Lieblingsgerichte.

Llevo tiempo pelando y cortando la verdura una a una con la perdida de tiempo que eso significa, y con esta picadora, puedes cortar toda tu verdura en un momento. Mientras mas tires de la palanca , mas finita te queda la verdura y mientras menos, te quedarán trozos mas grandes que es lo que mas me gusta a mi, picadita pero no puré. Además es manual, no lleva botones, no gasta electricidad y se limpia muy bien.
