Doesn't dry out too fast. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good *by E***R on December 20, 2025* Good bonsai soil ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good quality bonsai soil *by A***. on July 26, 2023* I used this for my bristlecone pine, coast redwood, and as pictured my giant sequoia seedlings. This is great for conifers as the name implies. I have in my mix for seedlings about 50/50 peat moss and this conifer soil. It drains very well but leaves the soil moist, so you are less likely to get root rot and there is no clumpy wet soil around the base of your trees. I would not recommend using this as the only soil in the pot, definitely add some more organic type of mixture unless instructed not to.
