Jonathan Green& Sons 12400 Winter Survival Fall Fertilizer, 16-Pound (12400 10-0-20)

I live in the Texas Panhandle and have used Jonathan Green Winter Survival Lawn Food for the past two. I put it down in late October and the high potassium content will protect the lawn through the sometimes cold winters. My lawn has always greened up quickly in March and looks really good in April. When I got the package this year, it seemed like there wasn’t a full 15 pounds in the bag. There just seemed to be a little less than there was in the bag last year. I did have plenty of fertilizer in the bag as my lawn in fairly small. If you order it, be alert to that possibility. All in all, I am pleased with this product.

I love Jonathan Green products, they are the best, and this fertilizer really and truly makes for a better greener lawn come Spring. I initially bought two of these bags, but they weren’t enough to cover my approximately half acre lot — so it was expensive to do my whole lawn, but totally worth it.

I have 3 different grasses and it is nice to find one that will work on all 3.

This is the first time I have used this and WOW I am impressed. I used this right after I over-seeded in the fall and man did it work. I liked the fact that I didn't have to wait for the seed to germinate before applying the product. I will be trying their full line of lawn feed in the spring.

I'm impressed. My lawn did a pretty good job surviving the winter under a thick layer of snow. Now cones spring and its growing like crazy (and its not even that rainy). I swear I'm mowed the last two weekends. I live in the NE and have fescue (a mix of creeping, tall and fine) and something else which I'll assume is MAYBE bluegrass.
