Herschel Strand Shoulder Bag

I read reviews and decided I would get this bag, and I am so glad I did. I wasn't sure if I would be happy at the price point, but needed something for international travel, and now I am in love with this bag!!! This could easily double as a weekender bag. I put books, devices, two pairs of clothes, shoes, and toiletries in this bag for carry-on in case my big luggage got lost/ delayed at my destination, and it is super roomy, stylish and sturdy. I know a few mentioned lack of pockets, but I used all the exterior ones and then used little zip up cosmetic type bags and mini packing cube to keep my stuff organized, and it was actually easier to grab a mini bag (as opposed to digging in deep pockets) to access what I needed. Don't think twice and just go ahead and get this. You won't be sorry!

I’m a CNA who works 16 hour shifts, so I bring a lot of stuff with. I purchased the black bag for winter and I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality and looks. Simple but cute. Looks expensive. The best part is that it doesn’t look bulky or loud and you wouldn’t expect the inside to be so roomy but it is.the The outside pockets are discrete but super handy and secure. I wouldn’t say the bag is stiff at all. It’s just sturdy.

Perfect for a long weekend! I used this for a 3 day trip and still had room to spare. Material is a very thick canvas and the handles feel very durable. The bag was large enough to hold everything I needed for three nights and I was still able to fit it under the seat as a carry on. There are cheaper options but I feel this was worth the money. I ordered the dusty pink and the color was true to its photo.

Currently using as a teacher bag and it is super sturdy. I like the pockets on the front - they hold a large water bottle well. The inside is one big pocket, perfect for throwing in computer case, books, etc.

After having and using this bag for college and some traveling for a year now, it's pretty decent. I get a lot of compliments on the styling, even though I don't think it's anything overly special. It holds all my books, my laptop, a water bottle and pencil case with some room to spare, even without expanding it. It could benefit from some small pockets inside because anything small you put inside seems to get lost and you end up rummaging around for ages looking for it and I don't always feel comfortable putting things in the outer pockets, as there's no way to secure them inside. It can get uncomfortable carrying it on your shoulder if it's a little heavy and I find that one of the straps always tends to slip off. And don't expect to keep the leather zipper accessories for long because they'll come undone and get lost forever. But, even with all that being said, out of all the bags I've tried for school, it's been the best so far.

It's a pretty big bag and I can tell it will last me a long time! I used it for a weekend and week long trip and it was able to accommodate everything from my clothes to my shoes, and even my toiletry bag. I would definitely recommend getting those travel organizers though to separate everything since it doesn't have any pockets or sections on the inside. The pockets on the outside are a nice addition as well, however I don't find myself using them much when the bag is stuffed since it's hard to slip things inside of them.

I'm using this bag for my roller derby gear and it fits my helmet and all my pads. I love that it doesn't have any interior pocks, but does have one big pocket in the front and two places to hold a water bottle (or the like). It's incredibly sturdy and great-looking. I would buy it again in a heartbeat for workout gear or even a day bag/overnight bag.

I switch between working from home and working in an office and this is the perfect bag to pack my MacBook Pro, iPad, mouse, keyboard, notebooks, planner, writing utensils, and any other item I may need for my work day. The perfect size, durable, and cute!

Die Tasche ist optisch sehr schön und groß, für einen 2-3 Tage Trip kann man sie benutzen, wenn man eher nicht so dicke Kleidung einpackt. Schade finde ich, dass es kein einziges Innenfach gibt. Es fliegt halt alles in der Tasche rum, grade für Kleinkram wie ein Akkukabel oder einen Schlüssel wäre ein Seitenfach gut gewesen.

As a disclaimer, I've only used this bag for 2 weeks now. So I can't say much for the actual quality. However I'm not noticing any tears and poor stitching anywhere, so that's generally a good sign. I use this as my gym bag. On the inside it holds: a pair of shoes, a pair of flip flops, a set of clothes, toiletry bag (that holds a bottle of shampoo + hair protection spray), small sized towel, mini hair dryer, small make-up bag and my wallet. On the outside pockets it holds my water bottle and my keys. So suffice to say it's decently roomy. It holds it shape quite well, which is perfect for my usage a I go to the gym right after work. So it looks decently professional despite its size. My only issue with this bag would be the lack of a smaller pocket on the inside of the bag.

マザーズバッグとして使いたくて購入しました。中にはポケットや仕切り等は無いですが、必要な物をポーチなどに小分けして入れれば問題無く使用できます。 肩紐の長さも肩に掛けやすい長さで、軽くて、色も良くて、とても気に入っています。 マザーズバッグとして使わなくなったら、仕事用に使おうと思っていますので、長く使えそうです。
