One of the best
Overall, I would recommend this product. I have given this 5 stars as a result of the following review. So let's write about it!This review is applicable to the following item(s): Bluetooth Speakerphone, Conference Speaker and Microphone, 4 MicsLength of Time I've been using this product: Since 8/11/23Brand: AirhugColor: Charcoal Grey/BlackPurpose/Occasion for Purchasing: To use hands-free without requiring headphones or earbuds to avoid headaches from wearing anything on or in my ears.Pros: * Quality. This is by far one of the best quality conference speakers I've used. * Easily Connects. This connects easily to my wired and wireless devices. Doesn't matter what it is, it works extremely well. Almost too well because once I have my Bluetooth on, sometimes I'll accidentally connect to it from another part of my home. * Compact. This takes up very minimal space. It's probably the size a woman's medium hand and is smaller than a women's large hand (because mine are large). * Easy Setup. * Versatile. Allows for Bluetooth or USB plug option. This helps for using with our work laptops where Bluetooth is disabled and then also use it with our personal laptops via Bluetooth. We've also used it for our phones via Bluetooth. * Loud and Clear. This has very clear sound and doesn't break up. * Great range/reception. I accidentally connected to this across the other side of my house via my phone. So this gets great range and reception! * Works great with MS Teams. We can easily tap it on or off (red) to mute/unmute. It works with MS Teams but it does not mute/unmute MS Teams (only the device). See cons below.Cons: * Not a fan of the on/off voice. I get annoyed when I hear the on/off voice sometimes so I wish there just wasn't one at all or maybe it was just a ding sound that played so I knew if it turned off or on. You can see if it's on based upon the color of the light, so ultimately a voice or noise is not necessary at all. * MS Teams function could be better. When you tap the device microphone on (green) or off (red), it does not mute/unmute teams; just the Airhug device. So what happens is, I need to use my mouse to mute/unmute MS Teams AND tap this device to mute/unmute (as needed). In general, I just leave this one on (green) and just navigate in Teams as to whether I want to be muted/unmuted. When I'm on a call where I'm expected to talk, I'll do the opposite and mute (turn red) the Airhug but then I'll leave my MS Teams chat unmuted. So it's not a make or break feature but if that actually muted/unmuted MS Teams, Skype, Zoom, etc. then that'd be a game changer for this conference speaker.Noteworthy:This is easily portable. You can toss it into your purse/bag and move along. You can even take a call in your car with ease and not have to connect to your car's Bluetooth! Overall, I saw the price tag and cringed a little bit but I also purchased another brand's conference speaker and I must say, this one is better. I also own an Airhug camera for my computer that is so crisp, you can see all the flaws hahaha and I also own an Airhug Bluetooth adaptor which is EXCELLENT. It works with my air pods and work laptop. Their products are really wonderful.

English voice prompts have a heavy Asian accent, battery life is poor. Audio quality is just fine!
As an audio device this speaker works just fine. I've held several conversations through it though I was about 2 feet or less from it while doing so. The callers at the other end didn't have any kind of echo or thought anything was amiss with the conversation. I've also used the speakerphone while it's plugged into power and experienced no issue with my conversation. The speakerphone is being paired with an iPhone 13 pro and the pairing happens quite quickly and automatically without any drops, that I've experienced. I only have two basic complaints which is why I took one star off. The first is that there's a series of voice prompts when it starts and even though they're in English it was obviously recorded by a non-native English speaker so you have a heavy Asia speaking English, it's kind of distracting and other users notice this and make fun of it. Lastly the device itself is about the size of a large potato and yet it only gives about 2 1/2 hours of talk time. This seems very very low for device this large. It's quite possible for a weight consideration they gave it a small battery and thought this was reasonable but considering the device is so large they could've easily put in a much larger battery to give you more like 8 to 10 hours of talk time. As it sits you will not get through a full day of meetings with this device without plugging into power. So I've just gone with plugging it in whenever I needed to use it but unplugging it as the manual states you should not leave it plugged in, to charge, indefinitely, unsupervised. I don't quite understand where the wires were crossed in in regards to the functionality of how portable speaker phones work but two some hours of talk time is really poor when you have a speakerphone this large. As a general speaker for things like audiobooks and other activities it actually works pretty well so if you don't mind the fact that the battery life is poor and you should probably plug it in while you're in a conversation, it's a fair choice for a cheap speakerphone/simple speaker that is not going to break the bank. I'll definitely keep the device as I find it has utility but if my point was to really have a portable speakerphone this is not gonna make the grade due to the poor battery life.
