I place this on my Lazyboy double recliner (upright; not in recliner position) with a towel folded underneath the front, so that I can put my weight on it and sit upright as though I were in a hard backed chair. It works very well for that. My use for it is somewhat unique — I sit on it and play violin on it, once it is on the upright recliner (for violin, you need a hard, level, armless seat). This way when we have a group over to play music, we can make use of the recliner which otherwise would not be functional for instrument playing. NOTE: There is no cushion. This is wood. So if you don’t like a HARD seat, you won’t like it. (I love it).

We love these chairs. Cozy and durable. Our guests always choose to sit on them.

Floor chair with no legs is a perfect addition to my low table I also bought on Amazon. Easy to assemble but one hole is too big for the screw, so there is a slight imperfection in the wood. The padding is thick and the wood seems sturdy. I'm very pleased with the cost and usefulness of the chair. I think my cat likes it too, as anytime I'm sitting on it she has to come join me.

so cheaply made the screws are too short to secure the pads to the frame. probably would have been decent if a half-way intelligent person designed it so it could be assembled

I like to sit and write or read on a coffee table in my living room and I was just using a pillow to sit on for a long time. I started playing video games sitting on the floor too especially when it gets really hot. Eventually my back would always start giving me trouble so I got the idea to find a little back support and this floor chair is so perfect for what I needed I am sitting on the floor even more often now. It has a super strong design. I'm 200 lbs and there is zero give on this thing. And somehow it is very lightweight so I started picking it up and taking it to other rooms. If you are wanting to sit on the floor this is chair is well worth it.

Cheap, not very comfortable. You get what you pay for with this. Looks sleek though!

The seat is 14 .25" x 16 .25" versus 13 .8" x 15 .7" shown in the product dimensions. It fits a small to medium frame person. It comes with 6 bolts to assemble, one torque wrench , 4 plastic covers that fit loosely over the bottom bolt holes. I added tape to cover them because they are very loose. I saved the cardboard from the box and cut 2 pieces 8 1/2" x 19" , taped them together to place under the back support and leaning on the 2 wooden uprights. This gave me additional lower back support, using a small folded towel. The seat is sturdy and comfortable enough for meditation.
