Amazon’s price for these was better than most places. These mats are very sturdy and heavy so they don’t move around under the outside playset swings. No more muddy mess! They have faded a bit in the sun after a couple months but otherwise have held up perfectly.

I have read reviews before purchase. Read the pros and cons. Compared prices, size, and all reviews. I have decided to take the chance and purchase 1 set of these. I have also ordered other types of mats.The item is heavy like everyone has said. It is definitely not going to fly away. I really like the green, a lot better than I thought. The green is like a forest green.The material does feel sturdy. The rubber is very compact and the quality is great for the price. It is not spongy but it does feel like a rubber mat. Understand this is placed where swings and slides end at. Its suppose to reduce the risk of rubber mulch flying all over the place. Again this item is not used to reduce injury from falls.I only bought 1 set because I wanted to try it out. I heard it was tough to return and heavy. Having it for 1 day I definitely think it's worth the price. I will be ordering more once I finish this review.Overall I am happy with the purchase. The quality feels good, item is heavy, and the price is excellent. I was okay with the green color.

We’ve had these a few years now and they are so annoying. The edges curl up around all 4 sides so the mats spin around and slide to the side exposing bare earth. Terrible! We have them next to another older set that has been perfect and never warped.

Works great for under our swings and slide. Very heavy and durable. Be careful with white shoes though, the red/brown will stain.

I purchased these mats SPECIFICALLY to protect the MULCH and TURF from my children's constant scuffing. I have 2 kids who know how to swing by themselves and the constant scuffing creates a mess on the bottoms of their shoes, my floors, and the ground beneath the swing set. I did not, in any way, believe these mats provided protection from bodily injury. That is a parents' job if you have children who are unable or unaccustomed to swinging on their own. So far they have held up well and are doing their job which is keeping my turf undamaged and my floors clean. I will update my review if they fail to do so within their 1 year warranty.** Also be sure you absolutely want these before hitting purchase. The return process is extremely expensive requiring buyer to pay return shipping and a restocking fee between 20-50%. I accidentally ordered 2 and I'm now the proud owner of 4 mats**

At first I was thinking these might be a little overkill since we went with 4-6” of recycled rubber for our playground fill but at the ends of the slides and directly under the swings that stuff just gets displaced so quickly! And those are the places you really need your cushioning! These things are pretty big, super heavy, and provide that extra cushion that just doesn’t move away like the loose stuff. I highly recommend getting some of these! I looked at a bunch and for the price these can’t be beat! Just have to remember that you’re getting a 2 pack, so double the other prices! We ended up buying (3) 2 packs for a total of 6 so we could put them under each of the 3 swings and each of the 3 slides. Can’t see them in the picture, but they are under all that rubber!

Eh. They are okay. I couldnt find the maker or website of a previous pair i bought and so i am left to compair the two, my previous set i have no complaints :)Differences would be, these are a bit thinner than another set i have, which is only an issue in that they cant seem to hold down enough on the corners to actually kill the grass i laid them over like my other set did. It killed most, but not the grass all along the edge, which makes the mat then bow, allowing further light to reach the grass at the edge and perpetuate the issue :). Will have to baby this along and manually remove grass to level the mats.Bigger issue, that i cannot change, these have the annoying imprinted name of the maker right in the center. It lets the sprinkler and rain water pool there and is the last bit to dry :/ keeps the sand or dirt kids might track from easily blowing off with a breeze and looks tacky.Again, comparing this to a set without these issues and they are side by side so the differences constantly bug me. If these dont sound like issues to you :) then you will be very happy with these! They do the job, arrived quickly enough and seem sturdy. Easy enough to just mow around as well. No more mud pits under the playground!

We didn't want to spend the money for playground or rubber mulch so we just left the grass under our swing set but I knew the grass would wear away quickly under the swings and leave a muddy mess when it rains. So I got these mats and they are great. They are very heavy so they don't move when the kids push off on them or drag their feet on them to slow down.They cover the entire section of grass that was worn away so no more muddy mess. I wish they were cheaper but I haven't seen any versions of this product for much less. They are worth the cost when you consider the alternatives.
