lotions are nice, scrubber is so much better than a non spinning one. don't know if the red light is doing anything but I do enjoy the product

I recently had the pleasure of trying Dogface's skincare set, complete with their innovative wakeup gel, which pairs perfectly with the techno brush for a refreshing morning routine. Dogface Deluxe Kit- Men's Red Light Facial Brush, Silicone Bristles Exfoliate & CleanseWhat Dogface does really well:The color choices for the product line are great, and a nice change from the usual black color that companies use for men's products. (In this case, a woman and man would be using this, and both of us like the gray and orange combo). The packaging is really well executed. I high level of attention went into the marketing and branding of this stuff.The "technobrush" was really what we ordered this set for. It's waterproof (and I can confirm that..... we've used it in the shower) and easy to charge. The little charging stand is nice. They event went to the trouble to make a little two-compartment holder to adhere to your shower wall to hold the Wakeup gel and the technobrush. We're not willing to tape anything to our shower wall though, and the little shelf isn't designed to sit upright on a flat surface, so it isn't any use to us. Great idea, though.What they don't do well:The bristles are very soft silicone, and in my opinion don't do anything at all except go around in a circle. There's no exfoliating action from those super soft bristles, but I wish there were.I guess with a name like Wakeup, I expected this gel to have a little minty pep in its step, so to speak. But it doesn't have any tingling or stimulating sensation at all. I don't notice any difference after using this product repeatedly. It seems to be totally inert.The Day Boom and Night Boost may be moisturizing, but we won't use them because of the scents. One smells like Jergens lotion from the 1980s, and the other one, I kid you not, smells like corn tortillas. Neither one smells good, or masculine, or like something we want in a place near our noses like all over our faces. We will keep the rotary brush and use it with a more effective product that stimulates and exfoliates, but we won't be keeping the rest. This set seems a little overpriced and underwhelming.

Funny my husband kept using my red light therapy wand so i decided to get his own!This was great he loves it. He likes that it came with skincare products and he told me he can see a difference in his skin when he uses it. It’s easy to use and for what it comes with the price is not bad.

Bought the kit for my husband for Christmas. He loved it. Fast forward to March and the machine stopped turning off. It spun around for an hour and died, and has not accepted a charge since.

I love the face scrubber. My husband does as well. It has a spinning, silicone face brush that attaches and underneath the red lights come on. The face products are nice, but the sense can use improvement as a woman. My husband that was not bothered by it and of course it is for him. I do like the scent of the day serum though. It is a great set and would be great for birthdays or Christmas as gifts. But I like the most is that the scrub brush spins very well and it won’t get stuck or stop on beard stubble. Definitely a great product!
