These are excellent! Very sturdy! I got the orange ones and they’re beautiful! The paint is really baked on. I’m definitely getting several more sets. I was reading some of the comments that say they’re flimsy and don’t stay put — that’s crazy talk! There’s no way they’re going to fall over or slide. UNLESS — you’re a big dummy and set them down backwards. I suspect this is what the negative reviewers were doing. You’re supposed to put the base UNDER the end of the row of books, not outside of it. Of course they wouldn’t work that way! I’m using them for my taller, heavier books and they totally do the job.

I was looking for visually appealing book ends for my retro game area. These check all the boxes. Heavy enough to hold books and games. They are much sturdier than you basic book end. And I love the color. I have a pair of the orange ones on the way as well. Sometimes it is the little extra things that really add to atmosphere of a library or man cave.

I love these bookends! I bought my first set years ago to hold up all of my recipe binders and cookbooks in my cabinet. They held the tall, big, heavy cookbooks and binders just fine. I liked the set so much, I got another two sets for my bookshelf. Recently I just bought two more for my home office. One set is on my desk holding my planner, notebooks, and the books I regularly use. I like the fun pops of color (I have five different colored sets) and have zero complaints with any of the sets.

What I liked about this product:1. L shape, not T shaped: The L shape totally works, looks nice, and saves space on my shelves.2. Holds up books: I have large law books on one end--no concerns about them accidentally taking out that bookend--and a number of tall, skinny, light-weight notebooks on the other end, so I had my doubts that it would hold its own if the law books created a domino-effect tidal wave. Both end hold up, even if I remove a few books in the middle!3. No slipping: The bottom of the bookend grips and doesn't leave marks behind.4. Orange!I definitely recommend this product. It works and is aesthetically pleasing.

The grip is not good enough. Should be a rubber gripper as the ones son this pair slides.

Used the book ends to organize my spice shelf. I buy a lot of spices in bulk -- plastic bags of 2 -6 ounces. This bookends are very sturdy, very thin, nicely built so as not to scratch. Very happy.

Thin and sticky on bottom

Ordered in green color that went well with other items in my kitchen. Is holding some cookbooks on top of my refrigerator. Seem sturdy and really like the non-sliding surface attached to the bottoms. Have had no problems with them and would recommend this item.
