Put baby or foot powder it will get rid of the squeaky tongue. Tying them too tight will cause this problem. These are the fashion version of the sambas, the indoor soccer ones have the longer tongue

These will last you about a year with everyday wear. I wear them to my office everyday. Don't expect to do any actual sports with them though. These are fashion sneakers.
