Works well, good value
I bought this for use with my work-supplied Dell Precision 5550 laptop. This allows me to use three external monitors in addition to the laptop's screen for a total of four displays, plus an ethernet connection and external USB microphone, plus anything else I might need to connect using USB A, since the laptop only has USB C ports.A few minor complaints. First is that one of the video outputs is VGA (the other two are HDMI). Would be nice if all three were HDMI but an inexpensive VGA to HDMI cable takes care of that. Second is that power pass-thru is only 100 watts, and this laptop uses a 130 watt charger. Charging through the docking station's power delivery port raises a "slow charger" warning. It still charges though, just a little slower. Not a big deal as the device works just fine powered through the laptop's USB Thunderbolt port, and I can plug the charger into another port on the laptop. And finally, the attached USB C cable is a bit short, but an extension cable solves that. Just make sure to get one with the proper speed. Minor issues, all.All in all, a very good value and everything worked as expected with no problems at all. It came with a cloth pouch for travelling, but I don't need all these ports when travelling and if I did, I'd buy a second one rather than disconnecting everything. There are cheaper hubs out there, but you get what you pay for. I tried a few others and they didn't work nearly as well as this one does.

Half of the ports do not work as expected. Trash.
Absolute trash. Checking the speeds of the USB3 ports, one was 35mb/2, so effectively being only a USB2.0One of the HDMI did not work, as well as the VGA.I did not bother to try the rest. Absolute trash for the price I was expecting not having to worry about such things.

Great for what I need
I'm currently using the MacBook Pro M1 and this really does work for multiple external displays. As it states in the description, by using DisplayLink, it holds up 3 external displays, which I'm currently using. It does lower my MacBook's performance, but that's not the dongle's fault, it's the DisplayLink driver's fault. All of the periferals work amazing! I even get the highest read and write speeds for each USB connector. The only con I can find about this dongle, is that it heats rather quickly, to a point that it burns on the touch. I had to put a small fan just for the dongle so it can keep itself a bit cool. It still gets hot but not as much as before. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

It occasionally works..... on Windows 11..... with the drivers installed. Not working on MacOS
I had been searching for quite a while for an affordable dock solution for extending my Surface Pro 8 and MacBook pro (2019 13" intel) to multiple monitors over HDMI using a single Thunderbolt 3 connection for ease of portability. Most don't seem to work well based on Amazon reviews. With my BENQ 22" 1080p monitors, after installing the "DriverLink" drivers, it's working perfectly on my Surface Pro 8! all the USBs and LAN connections work on the SP8. Macbook pro, no dice. A single external display extends, but not multiple. LAN connection is not working, either. Lame. For the price, I'm happy. Really disappointed with the lack of MacOS support. Strange thing is, I have the same brand but the dual monitor model... the LAN function works fine. Now, time will tell if it holds up. So far, so good!-----3/14/22 editconstant issues losing connection to the USB devices attached. super frustrating. it still works, but only after pulling all the connections, saying a prayer, then reconnecting in random order and rebooting. and doing is all over again until it works.... beyond frustrating.-------3/24/22 editit started randomly working with MacOS (intel 2019 13" macbook pro). however, the USB devices are unrecognized. it's really bizarre, frankly. LAN connection IS also working. I'll leave it 3 stars for now. please keep in mind, I am running only 1080p on 22" dual external monitors. nothing 2/4k, here. my eyes can't do it.--------3/30/22 editokay, so... another macOS update. i'm on monterey 12.2.1. USBA devices are not working at all. i can't get them to work whatsoever. As far as the issues above in resetting and getting external displays to work, so... the "sequence" of reconnecting is as follows....make sure the hub is disconnected from the computer, first:1. remove the external USBC power source from the hub2. connect the external USBC power source back to the hub3. reconnect the main USBC input to the source computerI have more reliably been able to get both screens to be recognized this way.

HDMI 2 Port Bricked After Two Weeks
*** UPDATE 2 ***The replacement device has also now bricked the HDMI 2 port. Two of these have now bricked that same port in six months. The ability to use two monitors with my M1 Mac is the main reason for my purchase, so this is disappointing. At least the replacement lasted longer than two weeks. I'm still dropping my rating down to one star as I wouldn't recommend anyone buy a product that can't last six months.*** UPDATE ***I got a replacement device and it has been working fine for over a month. I have updated my review to four stars, as I'm removing a start since it runs quite hot. I will update this review if it craps out on me again.** Original Review **This product worked great...for two weeks. The HDMI 2 port no longer works and displays a blue/green screen. The same cable works perfectly fine in HDMI 1 so I know it's the port that isn't working. Now I can only connect one monitor when I specifically purchased this so I could use two monitors. Not what I expected for $90.
