This is a superb and in-depth study of the Grand Budapest Hotel and is a beautiful book. If you like the film then you’ll appreciate this book. It’s not full of behind the scenes pictures or that sort of thing. It is though a fascinating and absorbing read

Really great for those who are Wes Anderson fans or general film geeks. The book really explores the film and his thought process which I found to be really insightful. A great gift for those who love film or even for yourself to take a look behind the scenes. I had bought another Wes Anderson book, however they stopped after Fantastic Mr Fox, therefore this was a great book to add to the collection

This, along with the original are simply wonderful books. Beautifully produced and incredibly insightful, it caters to the serious cinema geek as well as the hip Anderson fan. Ample sized to be casually left around the house as a coffee table book, this is one I keep dipping back into to marvel at and enjoy (almost as much as the film).The author is well informed and adept and drawing out the subtleties that influence the viewer of Wes Anderson and it adds a whole new level of appreciation of the craft and attention that go into his filmsFor anyone not yet convinced, the author has also made some short video essays of their work on Vimeo under the username rogerebert.com.

El contenido del libro es buenísimo, está lleno de referencias y de explicaciones. Por otro lado, la calidad de construcción es impecable, tanto en materiales como en la impresión de las hojas.

Regalo ideal para cualquier coleccionista y amante de Wes Anderson. El Gran Hotel Budapest es una película gloriosa y muy bella, a la par que este precioso libro de arte de la película. Tiene muchísimo contenido inédito y texto, es muy completo y está cuidado hasta el último detalle. Las pastas son de muy buena calidad, duritas, y el diseño de la portada es como para enmarcarlo (y los detalles en relieve son una pasada, genial al tacto).El diseño del libro es una maravilla, te quedas embobado a cada página que pasas. Sin duda una muy buena compra y ojalá saquen (o yo descubra) más libros de esta colección porque los querré todos. Muy recomendado.

Great paper quality. Very insightful. The only thing I wish was included in it was w separate interview with the graphic designer Annie Atkins. The introduction was very beautifully written. There is a trailer of it on vimeo somewhere with an animation.
