Not sure why the reviews are so negative? I personally haven't tried the other brand that costs more. Maybe it is better? But I can't afford it unfortunately. I had to use Christmas money to try these and then used more to buy a second box! I've been trying different incense trying to find ones that just smelled like burning wood like from a fireplace or a campfire and this is just what I was looking for! They are very small and burn quickly but they leave a good scent like a fireplace for a long time. Would love to keep being able to get them but not sure the price will stay 9.99? Wish they sold on Walmart's website also so I could order from there when my free Amazon Prime expires. But overall I really love love love these! As far as the little bit down in the holder that doesn't burn I carefully remove that bit with some tweezers that came with an old incense burner I have and then hold it with them and light the bit on the jagged end then sit it in an incense burner so I get use out of the whole little brick :).

Great range of smells

I wanted some incense that was more woodsy than floral. By golly, I found it. It has multiple scents that are earthy/woodsy in nature. I find them very calming. My housekeeper even commented on how good my room smells.

I bought this product because it looked similar to a product that I’ve purchased many times in the past. The product that I Usually purchase was slightly more expensive and so I thought I would try this less expensive brand. It looks exactly the same on the inside, but each block of supposedly wood incense smells like perfumed blocks rather than actual wood. I’m used to this incense smelling like a wood fire which makes me feel good. This product smells like burnt perfume. I tried two different blocks, the cedar and the pinion and they both smell the same.

I was hoping for a more pure product. I really love the smell of the different woods burning.This was scented like other things, like floral. I do not like it at all. Was hoping for an all natural, pure product.
