a stand is a stand is a stand
Its a bike stands! a bikes stands on it! if you're using it a step put the bars that are on the ground perpendicular the stand can roll on the curved edges and make you fall HARD, nothing against the stand just what could happen. I would even pay more for a variant of the stand that has rubber bottoms.

Seems like a good, sturdy stand
This is the first bolt together bike stand I've ever had. The others have always been welded together, but coming back to riding after quite a few years away, I decided to give this a try. The rubber pad on top is nice and thick, there's the hole to drain the bike's transmission fluid thru, and putting this together was fairly simple, even without instructions. There are eight bolts in total, four long and four short. The four long ones connect the two bars to the sides of the stand, and the four short ones secure the top to the sides. If you don't plan on taking this apart, and I don't, use some red loctite on the bolt threads. The stand is powder coated, so it shouldn't rust anytime soon. A few things of note:The included hex wrench is junk. I'd only use it if you don't have another of the same size. The decals are cool, but too long. If you put one end right up against the weld, the other end covers the other weld, so it won't stick flush on one side. Trim it to fit where the entire decal sits flush, or you'll end up with dirt, sand, etc. getting underneath whichever side is resting the the weld. The two bars have two indentations in each end. The deeper indentation needs to face UP, because the two sides of the stand slant in.The top goes OVER the two sides, not in between them. You can zoom in on my photo and look at a couple of the things I've mentioned. Hope this helped!

Ok service stool but couldn't fit my Mantis X e-dirtbike. Fit the Mantis Mini fine
I ordered this to service my son's Mantis Mini (electric dirtbike) and my Mantis X.The package arrived quickly and was flat packed in a cardboard box. The packaging and protection for the metal stool inside was rather inadequate to ensure safe delivery but luckily it arrived without any damage. The package did not include any instructions although it is rather simple to assemble but initially it was frustrating. After assembly I immediately put this to use for an oil change on the Mantis X. Unfotunately I could not get my normal sized e-dirt bike (equivalent to a 100cc dirtbike) on this stand without the rear tire touching the ground. If I applied some light force I could lift the rear end and it would only be a few millimeters off the ground. I had to use some additional pieces of wood to get the Mantis X to sit off the ground and balanced properly. For the Mantis Mini this little service stool had no problem and it was well suited for a small e-bike.Not that it was a deal breaker but my stool came without any markings or logos or writing or any kind on it. In the product photo for this stool, there is text/writing on one side of the stool. There was no writing of any kind on mine. The stool feels sturdy for the small size. It has a rubber top. The bottom assembly and frame of the stool is metal/aluminum/lightweight steel (?).For the value I believe that this is not the best deal. For my location, this had the quickest shipping time. The service stool did perform (half) the job I wanted it to do but was not suitable for medium to large ebikes or dirtbikes.I would recommend this to others that need a service stool in a rush and don't have too large or an e-bike or dirtbike.

Not a high performance stand.
Might work better for a like kids bike or pit bike or a light weight e-bike, but not a full size adult dirt bike. My yz450 destroyed this thing. Crappy cheap metal. Not strong enough for what I need it to do. It's currently sitting in the garage with vent supports and might also be good holding for putting your foot on to tie your laces. That's about it.
